OK, Rick, was the triple post done so we wouldn't miss the announcement? It worked!

It was done three times because there are three dates and each time you add a date to the calendar it creates a separate post. Now you know.

Eight seminars on Sunday Morning. Registration starts at 8 AM. Registration is $35. Some of the displays will be open in the morning.
Eight layouts open in the afternoon (wear your badge). Maps at the hotel.

This great event is coming to an end this afternoon with layout tours. The Desmond Hotel in Malvern, PA was filled with model railroaders from around the country enjoying four seminars each rotation, a great display room, plenty of vendors, a dinner and op sessions.
I learned about coal, the DL&W in Oswego NY, Cleveland area rails in the 1920's and building a modern P&G paper plant.
Here is just one picture from the display room.

Look at that crowd.
Hats off to Paul Backenstose, Jim Dalberg, Dick Foley, Ken McCorry, Val Pistilli, Steve Salotti and Andy Hart for managing this meet.

Three good looking dudes.

I learned a better and easier way to put decoders in Athearn blue box units.
The best was Craig B solving my pin connected bridge eyebar problem. I will now be able to move on to finishing the bridges on my RR.
Hueber rode with my wife and I on the layout tours. Neither had seen Ken McCorry's layout. My, were they surprised, especially my wife! I told Hueber he would have CTC machine envy!

As Mark requested, some more photos from the display room.

More display room:

Mike Rabbit's scratch-built sintering plant. He says it took three months.

The management crew in conference. Paul is second from left, then Andy Hart and Jim Dalberg.

We had a big and happy crowd all weekend long.

The sintering plant took three months? Good grief, I couldn't do that in 3 years! Very nice!

Some more pictures to show how crowded the display room was.

Along the wall, we reached maximum capacity.

I presented a seminar on the Nottingham Mine in Plymouth PA. It was history and modeling thoughts. Here is my audience at the beginning -- all smiles.

By the midway point, the audience was fading.

Thanks guys for playing along.
The food function on Saturday was food only, no speeches or presentations.

The final attendance was 277. Great job by the organizers.
