Yeah, that's one of the things I liked about the signs. Really keeps you honest. Unfortunately, I don't have any of the pre-1930's sheets or any of the post-1940's sheets as at the time, I was strictly modeling the 40's. But as I have time, I'll scan the other sheets I do have.

Steve those are great signs. Like you I was able to get eighteen different sheets before they disappeared.

Dave I will post the only one I have before 1930 later. There seems to be some kind of problem adding files right now.

Dave I was going to post the sheet of signs and posters to the thread. But I have found that for some reason because I scanned them into the computer the file will not upload to Railroad-line. I do not at this time know why it wont work. The properties are the same has the pictures and other signs I have up loaded. They are jpg's. If you have a fast connection I can send them to you. They are about 1.2m files.

Mike:

I just tried to post a sheet of signs also and had the same problem. I just did the same thing. Scanned them in and they dont show up when you preview it. Not sure why. Maybe Mike C can shed some light on this.

guys I don't know for a fact if this is still true but back when I first joined I was told that if you previewed a pic it would disappear, from then on I just posted it and it has always showed, well almost always. Pat

Anyone have any favorite "sign editing" programs they can comment on?

I know it's a matter of personal choice but FWIW Adobe Illustrator ain't too user friendly . I've used Photoshop and like the cloning tool that it offers but don't see it's counterpart in Illustrator.

How is Paint Shop? Anyone using it?
