If you're experimenting with uploading photos from remote web sites/servers or you're designing a logo for your "signature," you can post it below to see how things are working.

Once you've got things working to your satisfaction, please let me know so that I can delete your "experimental post" and save the space.

Thanks, Mike

Thanks Mike!

I'll be happy to keep an eye on this and advise and help people upload and display images if they need it, I can also supply temporary file storage space on the net if it is needed.

OK Mike here's my latest attempt, hope you like it. I'd have added a string of log cars but I figured that would be too large!

And now it's even animated.... sometimes...

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm a busy man. I have a railroad to run.

The old posting, pre 7 pm this evening, are static. Not like the Static you get around here sometime!

I was going to add a engineer running after the loco but I thought would take to long to load!

Hi Mike,

David's looks great! But mine looks better...Thanks! Now all I've gotta do is sit back and wait for the jokes to come about that "bug" on my Herald.

Thanks again,
Debbie

Type the url reference line beginning with "img" in brackets and ending with "/img" in brackets.

To see an example, click on 'Reply' to this post or one of the others that has a logo signature; look at how the url line is set up.

All of the various logos you see are actually graphics - usually jpg's - that have been uploaded to a web site. That site is then referenced in the member profile signature block, and the graphic is downloaded to this site with each posting.

Mike,

Shouldn't that be the 'REPLY WITH QUOTE' button at the top of the post instead of just 'Reply' to topic?
