I finally got rid of the rusty, rat-infested old shed that was taking up a big chunk of our patio and blocking the view of the railroad!

I hired a crew to come tear down the shed and haul it off, along with all the ratty, grimy junk inside. The only things they could take were a few "household chemicals" such as old paint, etc.

I also bought a smaller, plastic shed and put it in the far corner where it won't be in the way. It took me a while to figure out how to assemble it. The instructions require two people, but eventually I found a way to get it done by myself. After I assembled it I caulked all the joints for added protection from weather and insects.

Great idea Ray! Looks a lot better now plus a great view of the RR.

Funny how we, at least I do, let things go so long and how great they look once we get the gumption to do something with them.

Looks great Ray.

Nice to see green stuff growing, too.

BTW, the white object on the layout is the cover I made to protect the Dos Manos Depot when not in use.

That old shed is probably on the way to the desert. You'll be featuring it in your next video production. Nicer view of your layout, and it'll probably get more use.
