Greetings Gents,
Rick thanks for opening and the coffee. Yes winter is my least favorite time of year but it's still better than hurricanes or tornados.
Jerry glad to hear that you got "a clean bill of health" from the Doc. So looks like the Mill will get done after all.
To the rest of the Crew be safe and be well.
Well it looks like we're going to get 3-6 inches of that white stuff in the next 24 hours. A weather advisory has been issued for all of Central and Southern New York. Our daughter is going to spend the night with us instead of trying to drive South since we're only 25 minutes from her job. I'll be good to see her. Wife has a Dentist apt. at noon then a quick stop at the grocery store. Received the order from Wiseman yesterday so detailing of J.D.'s is in order; just not today.
Have a great day. Be safe, stay healthy, and careful on the roads.

Good morning folks,
Rick, thanks for coffee. Hope you day is easy.
Larry, watch out for the falling ice cycles..
Karl, good luck on the "finger poking device" quest.
Jerry, congrats on the good report. Always good to hear.
Yannis, Hope stay warm or cool, whatever the weather is.
The C shot visit went very well. No pain or side effects. The hospital was very organized, using an appointment scheduling system. Second shot is in three weeks.
Its cold this morning at 38F, rising to 55F this afternoon.
Sharon comes home from a casino trip this morning. Mom goes to the doctor at noon, I have lodge tonight.
Have fun and stay safe, mike

Good morning from Wisconsin. Officially 7” of white stuff fell and doesn’t end till noon. It’s blowing at 16mph and the white stuff is drifting.
I’m ok as you know the train room doesn’t get any of that white stuff. Other then that I am fine.
Edit. 10:09central time
I hit the driveway and walkways with the blower on the green goat. I measured 10” and it is still coming down, 1 three foot snowdrift about 50’ from the house. I didn’t feel like waiting for the SIL to do the driveway around noon. He can have his crew redo everything especially where the County plows put stuff in my driveway entrance. Thankfully it is dry fluffy stuff

Got a batch of white stuff, looked like 4-5” maybe when the Doll made a path to her bird feeder. Once I’m sure it’s done I’ll go out and clear off the driveway. This is only the second or third snow all season, and the most at one time. Still not enough to challenge the Deere I’m sure.
My mystery FedEx delivery was a pack of papers from the credit union on my truck transaction. Now to try and get in to the Secretary of State to transfer the paperwork. [-:witch] has most state offices closed or greatly reduced in providing any kind of service, remembering the weeks long wait to get in for a driver’s license renewal last summer.
Found a new poker yesterday and was able to bleed for the cause this morning.
My USPS package was a little brass 2-4-4-2 I bought off ebay. Will be a challenge to clean and paint. “Has tarnish” was a subtle understatement. It looks like it has been airbrushed to show smoke deposits. Not sure when I’ll start it.
Was at the area Michael’s store yesterday, it looked like it was on the verge of closing. Aisles of empty or nearly empty shelves, much lower than usual, inventory season low stock.
No big plans here, snow moving before too long.
Everyone have a good day. Larry, enjoy your snow.
Everyone drive carefully. Story on W Michigan news of a woman that ran off the road, hit a utility pole, two trees and landed underneath the crushed roof of her rolled over SUV in the river where she had to be cut out of the car. She MISSED the DEER! tho.

Coffee, hot water for tea and a variety of cold sodas are ready to go.
Mostly cloudy, with a high near 42. Any s@#$ that came down, which wasn't a whole lot, is all gone.
Jerry, great news about the Dr. report.
Karl, congrats on the new addition to the RR.
Tom, hope you spent more time in the train than with the s@!#.
Mike, glad that there weren't any side effects.
Larry, sounds like a busy day and have fun with your new details.

Good morning,
Rick, thanks for coffee. Happy Friday I think.
Sounds like a lot of that white stuff up north. Cold here, but clear. HIgh 55F, low 28F and clear skis are the forecast.
Taking Sharon for cancer follow up appointment, then to get vaccinated. Going to catch lunch at a seafood restaurant.
Mom is going to visit one of my sisters for a while. She's been living with us for over a year and this will be a good break for her.
Have fun and stay safe, mike

An in and out peak at el sol this morning and 14 degrees staying chilly for a couple days but quiet.
I jumped thru some hoops in place by and got online by 0800 to get one of the “day of” appointments for a chance to go to the Secretary of State to transfer the paperwork for my truck. Crazy game we place under the thumb of the power hungry. I managed to get one of three they were dangling out for 1:40 this afternoon. The regular page had earliest available in mid April.
Watched the snow pause around noon but checked the weather app and app and saw a resumption so waited until nearly 4 to go out and clear the driveway, Deere did well. Maybe the residual will clear with the sun. It’s said to be slick in spots this morning.
Best to all with your daily ventures, be safe and stay well.

Morning/Evening,
Rick thanks for the coffee. Yesterday was busy and snowy. Have a great day on the rails...happy TGIF.
Mike hope Sharon's apts. go well. Sounds like a nice break for you as well. My Father-in-Law lived with us for 8 years until his health failed and ended up in a N. Home.
Karl glad you got an appointment so soon. This crap needs to stop!!!! Do you get snow off the Lake like we do during winter?
The rest of the Crew have a wonderful day.
Going to be a high of 28 today so I guess the snow will be with us for awhile. I see snow blowing in my future this morning. Hopefully some bench time later for "details" detail.
Have a good day. Stay warm, be safe, and be healthy.

Good morning or evening wherever in the world you are.
Coffee, hot water for tea and a variety of cold sodas are ready to go.
Temps will reach a high in the low 30's but plenty of sunshine.
Jerry, did you do what you wanted?
Larry, how are those details coming along?
Karl, congrats on the appointment.
Mike, hope Sharon's follow up went well and that lunch was delicious.
Tom, Philip, Yannis, Dan, Kyle and any other lurkers, why not pop in and give an update what you're up to.
Bike ride first, some meal prep after and get the oil changed in the car later. Probably stop in and see what Mom is up to. I'm sure there will be a cigar and a bit of bourbon after all that is done.
Have a great day everyone.

Greetings,
Rick thanks for the cup-o-joe and enjoy your day off. The details are coming along quite nicely; I'll post and update in a couple of days.
Jerry hope you get to the bench today; we're waiting "with bated breath" for some pics.
Tom sounds really cold where you are; keep warm. We're going into the deep freeze stating tomorrow for a few days; can't wait...not!
The rest of the Crew have a great day.
A cold 16 with a high of not much more. Went to Wegmans this morning for drugs and ran into a couple of my old work mates; had a chance to chat for awhile. Probably going to clean the drive again then maybe some bench time after lunch.
Everyone have a great day. Be safe, stay healthy, and stay warm.

20s and grey with the occasion snow flake. Yes Larry , we do get some extra snow when the winds are from the West crossing Lake Michigan. We’re at about the Eastern edge of the lake effect bands when the snow machine is going. While the lake isn’t frozen yet there has. Ot been many such days so far this year.
I managed to get in early to my appointment at the Secretary of State and was out and done, and a fair bit poorer before the scheduled time. Pre plague times you might sit there with 40-50 folks for an hour or more, the system is nuts but actually much easier, after the pre appointment hoops, than in the past. While there I also renewed my license plate for another year, good now until 7-15-2022. That’s a place I like to avoid like the plague.
Today I’m helping the Doll with her hair color, sure a nice Clorox rinse would do but she has some $pecial goo she gets mail order. The last time she went to her regular “fixer” who has moved into her house, she was so claustrophobic and the gal so OCD she was very stressed from it, so welcome to Sir Karl’s boutique and toy train shop....
Few other plans, temps remain in cold range for a few days with another round of snow Friday or Saturday.
Be well, be safe.
