Good morning or evening wherever in the world you are.

Coffee, hot water for tea and a variety of cold sodas are ready to go.

A chance of showers, mainly before 3pm. Patchy freezing fog before 7am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 42.

Sorry. I let the morning get away from me and need to keep it brief today.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning folks,

Rick, thanks for coffee. Good luck on the iron today.

Jerry, the hoist tower looks good. is it sheathed or left open?

Tom, glad your son place is back to normal. What a mess mother nature made across Texas.

Karl, hope you can still hear.

Larry, I won't do any major lifting, just putting clothes in boxes and bags. A moving company will do the heavy stuff.

As if to say, "I'm sorry", mother nature's forecast for today is 83F. That won't last, but I'll take it.

Mom and I are off to get our 2nd vaccine shot at noon. Today is Sharon's birthday, but we'll probably celebrate tomorrow. She gets back home around noon from a trip to the casinos with her girl friends. Maybe lodge tonight if I don't get the eyebrow lift when I mention the meeting...

Have fun and stay safe,
mike

Good morning from Wisconsin. We will have the white stuff start melting today.

Rick be safe out there.

Jerry, the tower looked great, I sure when it’s put back together it will be again.

Mike, 83 compared to last week. Mother Nature has been ticked off about something.

The frustration is real, so today at 10 I am going for a scenic drive and just may end up 70 miles away at a hobby shop. Image that.

Be safe

.Temp today in lower Michigan is in the mid 30s and may make it to 40. About half of Texas Mike but we’ll take it. Thing got quite sloppy around yesterday. I did get a lot of the weekend accumulation cleaned up. Sun morning I went out to the store and noticed a house a couple miles down that had burned up....just heard today a young fellow, 30s, lost his life. Sad.

My hearing appointment went well, added an overall noise block for road trips. My hearing hasn’t changed from its diminished status. It’s “ok” with the little chunks of gold wired in. The fellow I go to is a nice “ young” fellow. We share a fire service background, he’s a lieutenant on the fire dept in Portland, Mi where his office is located. His father was in a EMT class I gave in the 1970s.

I stopped and saw my son yesterday while over in Portland, he lives there and has been running an auto repair shop a block from his home. He likes not driving 35 miles to and from work to Lansing where he’s been for few years. I’ve seen so little of him since the plaque.

The Doll has reported seeing robins the last few days. Sure sign of Spring...long time before they’ll be be picking worms.

I have all the pieces/parts primed for the gas station project. We’ll see how it goes. The Doll was hinting about a hair dip, so never know about that. Both of our vehicles need a scrub, too.

Everyone have a fine day. Warm(ER) safe and well.

Good Morning,

Rick have a good day at work...teach away. Thanks for the joe.

Jerry sounds like the tower and Murphy's Law collided. Nice looking tower and I'm sure it will be the same when put back together.

Mike having a moving company was probably a smart move. Last time I helped my Daughter move I realized that the years were sneaking up on me; and not in a good way.

Tom enjoy the drive and have fun at the hobby shop.

Karl glad to hear the hearing is ok. Wow...30's is an awfully young age to be checking out; I guess you never know. Nice you got to see your Son; with all of the b.s. this past year seeing loved ones has been a challenge.

A mild 28 here in New York with a high of 39; even warmer tomorrow...melt snow melt. Not much else going on today.

Be safe, stay healthy, and have a great day.

Just got home from work.

Larry, I'll add this pic to try and get spring here a little sooner.

Karl, glad the hearing appointment went well.

Tom, enjoy the drive and hobby shop.

Mike, Happy Birthday! to Sharon.

Jerry, tower looked great I'm sure you've got it back together by now.

Bike ride and then a chore or two, some TV and back to sleep.

Sorry I missed out on the Blanton's last night.

See you all in the AM.

Mostly sunny, with a high near 54.
Some spring fever today.

Grocery shopping after work.
Since it will be warm outside a cigar on the back porch is in order.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning,

Rick, thanks for coffee. Hope you enjoy the warm weather.

Yesterday was busy, but uneventful. Getting our second vaccine shots was easy, no line. Lodge went well last night. Today I take Sharon for her 2nd shot and then to Birthday lunch and a movie. Not sure what is out there worth watching. It has been over a year since we went to the movie. Today's forecast is for 70F and sunny.

Have fun and stay safe,
mike

In and out sun and clouds and temp 45 already exceeds the forecast high. LOTS of snow left us yesterday. Our UP contact reports 8” of new snow at Northern Command this morning. I’d entertain a trip up before long but the Doll’s 4Runner is making brake noises, son will look at it Friday.

No big plans today. I spent. Fair nit of time looking up logos and information on Standard Oil of Kentucky for the little gas station build I have. I thing the “Shady Grove” and Texaco logs in the kit are ok but I don’t plan on a carbon copy model appearance wise. Interesting I found one of the Standard of Ky logos used the same KYSO that I use for reporting marks on some of my home road rolling stock on...the KentuckY SOuthern Rwy. I also us K Y S on some with my oval logo to reflect our New York Central heritage.

Everyone have a fine day, it appears this is our January thaw...I’m sure there’s more winter ahead, right Pux. Phil?

Be Well

Morning Everyone,

Rick I like the way you think...a winter voodoo doll; that just works. Enjoy the warm weather along with the cigar.

Mike glad the shot went ok. Tell Sharon Happy Birthday!! Enjoy lunch and the movie. Our Movie Theaters are still closed...pity.

Jerry glad to hear the tower is back together just keep Murphy away from it and you'll be all set.Enjoy the warmer weather.

Karl hope the vehicle doesn't have anything seriously wrong with it. Nice your taking the time to research logos for your build.

34 this morning with a high of 48 later..sounds good to me. Went to the Chiropractor early for an adjustment to keep things going. Taking the Mrs. out for lunch and enjoy some of this nice weather. Maybe some bench time later. The back wall is built and working on the second.

Everyone enjoy the warmth. Stay safe, be healthy, and stay safe.

Good morning from Wisconsin where the melt began yesterday. Back my from eye appointment and the eyes are.still in the dilated state.

Movies, as you guys know Terry and I were going once or twice a week the last few years. The last movie theater was March 12, 2020 and until we both have the vaccine shots it will be awhile. I have no clue as to what movies are out there. Like Larryc, our movie theaters are still closed after a brief try to open in December.

The grain bins are done, finally. Yesterday’s road trip ended up with me at Lombard Hobby in Illinois.

Today I will think about removing the snow on my deck outside my office. Terry wants me to officially close down my office and if I work on our Property Management stuff I can use her office in the house or go out to the real office. I told her I will think about it.

Be safe

Morning

Rick thanks for opening and the coffee.

Weather in South Jersey sunny/43. With a high of 47.

We went to the beach yesterday but it was so windy we came back home after about 15 minutes.

Today we are having three windows replaced.

So maybe some bench time while that is going on. I need to stain some wood and belts!!

Everyone have a great day!!
