So far it looks that way. I’ve started installing the material and it looks great. Accepts paint well.
Thanks for watching.

Thank you, Karl. I seem to be on a roll so pictures should be forthcoming.

Thank you Karl, Jim, Rob and Larry. I appreciate you guys looking on.
Jim, that was fun to see. My tower at the stage it's at right now sort of looks like the one photo of the tower with no stairs.
Here are some new photos. I'm a good way along adding the decorative shingles.

I bought them from Rail-Scale-Models, which carries the former Rusty Stumps products. They work great.
The walls look pretty rough but once the windows and doors are installed everything should look better. Back when this kit was manufactured decades ago, the stamping process was not very kind to the wood.

Mike, your replacement shingles already look way better than what this kit originally offered to cover that area.

Greg,
Thank you. Yes, I’m more than satisfied with the substitution.
I forgot to mention that these are the N scale shingles.

Nice work with the shingles Mike. Something a bit different, and a nice architectural design. Harks back to a time when extra design detail mattered. Not like today.

Rob, thank you. I like how in the classic years of the railroads they would add style to even the most unpublic of company buildings. They might cost a bit more initially but became more cost efficient as the basic design was repeated. Plus, it made for a company look and an appearance of affluence.

I’ve made significant progress the last couple of days, completing trim and installing windows.

I’ve started work on the stairs.
