I made a gable trim, and the finial is actually a toothpick. For the roof I wanted a slightly different look, so I did shingles again, but have also added tar paper as well, to look like a repair. And here's how it looks when attached to the main structure. I've also temporarily added some windows. I usually don't add my windows till last so I don't get any paint on the glass. I added a wood base and rail sections as internal braces. Both recommended in the instructions, but not included with the kit. The first, the sand bin, is done. I'm now working on the second, the drying house.
