Morning Everyone,

Rick thanks for the coffee. I think that we're getting some rain tomorrow.

Jerry thanks for stopping by the farm; it's coming right along.

Karl that will be a nice feature for an "old geezer"; so enjoy when it's finished.

Tom how you feeling today; good I hope.

Mike are you enjoying some cooler weather?

We are cooling down this week; low 80's today and in the 70's the rest of the week. The Cable Tech is coming out this morning so we'll see what happens. We lost internet for 2 hours late last night. The Mrs. was not a happy camper. Fingers crossed that this gets fixed since still they want their money every month.

Have a great day and stay well.

Good morning,

Rick, thanks for coffee.

Tom, glad they finally diagnosed your health issue and hope the drugs do the trick.

Karl, the house looks terrific. Many hours of enjoyment are ahead.

Jerry, it is cooler today, forecast for only 106F.

Larry, swapping mowing for a nap sounds like a wise decision.

Yesterday I spent most of the day in the shop and made a lot of progress. Here is a photo of the carcass assembled for the garden cabinet. Next up is turning 42 boards into shiplap siding.

Have fun,
mike

Good morning from the deck. Thanks for the well wishes. I will beat this this called Lymes but I read a 100 page pamphlet the visiting Nurse gave us yesterday, twice. As for feeling better after taking a 1/2 worth of the drug treatment, feel worst. The cure is tougher then the disease. I just wanted to let you guys know, I probably wonít be here every day, in spirit yes, but not in print.

Karl, the build looks a little larger then HO or On30. The rafters definitely look like they will hold the Michigan snow load. Now you need a snow rake and someone younger then you to use it. Congrats, the house looks great.

Mike, nice start to the cabinet. Is that for outside?

Larryc, I will feel better, thanks. Being without internet, TV or power is so vital nowadays. Hope the cable guy resolves the issue.

Jerry, enjoy the beach!

Rick, hope those lab tests come back negative for Covid. Just be safe.

Well, 42 minutes on the deck has kicked my ass, very little sleep last night. I did write more in the morning lounge and Jim had a decent breakfast going this morning. Off to take a nap.

Nice and sunny with a calm lake this morning. Had to run the heater this morning to warm up a bit.

Just back from town seeing the girls off after breakfast.

Chill out day may go down to the beach and enjoy the view.

Great day all!

That's a big overhang.
Will there be a porch and/or balcony?

Tom, glad you got an answer and I hope they are able to treat it quickly so you're feeling better.

Larry, glad you got some sleep.

Mike, hope you got that shop time.

Jerry, hope you made it to the beach.

Things have cooled down here enough where I can build a fire outside.
Did that last night with some Eagle Rare and will do the same tonight.

Beers, soda's, white and red wines and soft drinks are out too.

Have a great day everyone.

Afternoon everyone

Rick thanks for opening.

Running late today. No reason just am.

Rain here in South Jersey so the beach is out.

But it gives me time to work on the Mill.
Many, many and I mean many sticks of wood in the framing.

Think I'll have a cold beer while waiting for glue to dry!!

Everyone have a wonderful day!!

Sunny and pleasant this morning in the woods. A bit of heat again this am. We ended up with a touch of a/c late afternoon. A pop up sprinkle passed just before twilight.

The builder set up scaffolding and will be working on the back side and roof today.

Probably heading home tomorrow or Wednesday. Itís been a good trip up. The girls visiting weíre fun to have here and are planning to try a new visit during color time.

Todayís plans not formed up.

TomO hope you have a good day. Everyone be safe.

Good Morning,

Rick thanks for the coffee. Good luck with your blood test; I usually tell the Lab Tech to leave some for me.

Karl sounds like they're moving right along. Going to be closed up by winter?

Tom hope your feeling much better today. Sometimes your body has to get used to the drugs.

Jerry how are the walls coming along. On #5 yet?

Mike that is going to be a nice cabinet when your finished; looks good so far.

Rain today and temps in the upper 70's. Maybe we're done with the heat and humidity for this year.
The Cable Tech came yesterday and seemed to know his stuff. While he was checking the connection on the pole my neighbor came out and she was having the same problems. He called in for a line repair and at 4am this morning they were fixing the junction box that we both are hooked up to. After I returned from a very early errand the work was done and now our internet seems to be much faster; so hopefully that's all set.
Going to get in some bench time today and maybe a nap latter. Not used to getting up that early anymore.
Have a great day guys and stay safe.

Good morning from cool Wisconsin. It was low 50ís overnight and the high today predicted is 74f degrees. Thanks for the well wishes and thoughts, I will get better through what the Doctors tell me is a tough
chemical adjustment period. I have had little thoughts about trains and when awake I have been looking over our estate plans. Things are moving on the large scale train per the SIL and between that, his vineyard
and his regular duties he is busy. Karl, the house looks great and becoming a Yooper is an acceptance thing by the locals. Thanks everyone have a good day.

Sunny and cool today. The Doll has the heat on and about roasted me out overnight.

Larry the plan is to have the place buttoned up before winterís arrival. Our guy is a fast worker.

No plans here today. Waiting for a call from the insurance guy to update coverage. It seems he keeps abbreviated hours.

Heading home tomorrow is our plan.

Everyone have a good day.

Good morning folks,

Rick, thanks for coffee. I am not sure it is a good thing to get a call for work. Good luck with your preference.

Larry, yea Internet.

Jerry, so hilarious: blood/alcohol ration

Tom, hope you are feeling better.

Sounds like the weather is cooling a bit up north. It is 10 degrees cooler here today with high only 97F. We had horrendous thunderstorm blow through Sunday night. The wind ripped my zucchini, squash, watermelons and peppers out of the ground.

The garden cabinet will go on the back porch which is covered some. I worked all day on it yesterday and hope to do the same today. It is like scratch building a structure, only in 1:1 scale.

Have fun and stay safe,
mike
