Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and a variety of cold sodas are ready to go.

Tropical storm conditions expected. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. High near 79. Chance of precipitation is 100%.

Larry, the 013 is a good thing.
Got paid to stay home yesterday.

Mike, more yard work today?

Karl, hope we get to see the bridge.

Jerry, no beach today and you won't need the sprinklers either.

TGIF

Have a great day everyone.

Morning everyone

Rick thanks for the coffee.

Sprinkler fixed no need for it today as Rick mentioned.
Not will there be any beach.

We had a storm and a half here last night. Winds up to 70 mph and rain/thunder.
Today we have the hurricane to deal with. Or tropical storm depending on the wind.

Maybe I will get to model sometime today.

Eyes were fine just keep those drops in every night.

Everyone have a great day!!

Rain and autumnal chill in the air here this morning.

I did spend 1/2 hour on the bridge yesterday evening, still quite away to go pics will be shared, Rick, when I can.

Wonder if AA is seeing any uptick in this viral time, I swear I've become addicted to hand sanitizer...

Have a great day all.

Good Morning,

Rick thanks for the coffee. My bad, I thought that you were penalized for the closeness in shifts. Getting paid to stay home would work for me too.

Jerry glad to hear that your eye apt. went well. I'll keep my fingers crossed that the weather doesn't get to bad where you live.

Karl I'm surprised that you can find the stuff. Doesn't beat good old "hot water and Soap" though.

Cool today only in the low 70's and rain. Not sure if we will get any effects from the Tropical storm or not. Grocery shopping this morning then maybe some bench time later. Have to finish some framing on the last building but have to wait for more lumber to arrive from Northeastern before I can finish.

Have a wonderful day and stay safe.

Good morning folks,

Rick, thanks for coffee.

Today I'll head to the lodge for work and a meeting tonight. No yard work,

Hope the east coast folks only get rain and no 120 mph hurricane winds.

Larry, how was the mowing?

97F here today with no rain.

Have fun,
mike

Good morning from bright sunny Wisconsin at 54f degrees. Not a morning for either the deck or porch yet. Not sure what todayís plan are, going with the flow.

Good Morning again,

Mike the mowing went well. Figured that I would beat the rain or the grass would be too long otherwise.

Tom, 54 deg is a might bit chilly. Do you usually cool down about now? Going with the "flow" is not a bad thing.

Good day guys.

A quick report most of the rain has stopped. But we still have gusts of wind around 65 mph.

No damage to our home but there is some to neighbors.

I got home from work about two hours ago.
All the traffic lights were dark and lots of branches littered the roads.
Stopped at the grocery store and they had lost power but were still open.
Just read on facebook that all trains on all lines for NJ Transit were stopped.
Guess I got home just in time.
Hope everyone else is safe.

Glad you Easterners are ok. I hate bad weather and in our case it is usually frigid cold and high winds in the Winter that cause us our most problems. I could never understand Floridians can just button up the house and head toward safety and then come back repeatedly. Still flowing!

Had a very lucky day today.

First, I got home safely.
Second, the power never went out at my house while many thousands are still without power.
Jerry, I hope your power is on.
Third, I got home just in time.
Shortly after I finished my day all trains came to a stop.
Trees fell down blocking tracks and knocked down catenary.
But on the NY-Trenton corridor I work, this is the major problem.

Lightning struck a major Amtrak transformer near Rahway.
Everything has been at a stand still since about noon.
I got to Trenton at 11:30 and missed the whole mess.
So far all trains are canceled till about 10PM.

Lots of crews will have 013's tomorrow.

Hope everyone else is safe.

Bar is open.
Eagle Rare is out along with bottles of red and white, stouts and porters and an assortment of soft drinks.

See you in the AM.

Rick,
Crazy pictures.
The storm came on shore 11 miles from my place at the beach, close to my favorite hang out. All is good for us but not so much for a few people closer to the action.
Take care all.

Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and a variety of cold sodas are ready to go.

Mostly sunny, with a high near 88.

Larry K., glad to hear all is good with you.
Hope everyone else is doing better as well.

RR is still a mess.
Trains on the corridor will resume running at 10 AM but with a weekend schedule.
As predicted there are dozens that aren't rested to work today so will be interesting to see how many trains will actually run.
That and a lot of equipment isn't where it's supposed to be to start the day.
All other lines except the Atlantic City line are still out of service.
One line had about 150 trees down.

I'll be doing a bike ride, then walk the dog followed by mowing the back yard.

Have a great day everyone.
