There is an old restored gas station in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park that has been preserved.



Pure Oil was purchased by Union Oil Co in 1965 and renamed the Pure Stations by 1970. Pure was big in the Midwest and South and was the gasoline supplier for NASCAR until Union 76 supplanted Pure. I remember the Pure Stations in Toledo as a child.

Be Sure with Pure.... but watch out for photobucket. Pure was once Hi-Speed at least here in Michigan.
