Randy, welcome back. Sounds like an exciting time, doing a new layout.

Columbia Pacific Mining Company revisited

heres my old woodshop turning into a model railroad room,,,,,,,,finished painting the interior (blue),,,,,,,,,,this week working on getting the soffet valance/light fixture frame up,,,,,tis time around the layout will be a island type in the middle of the room rather then around the outer walls,,,,,,,

thanks for all the welcomes,,,,,,,,,,this last week got up the Valance/Light soffet,,,,,,,21'8"x 5'4"x 12" tall,over this island layout,,,,,then I can get up the Black 1/8" hardboard valance,,,,,this layout will have the shadow box effect,,,

this week end getting started on 20- 4' light fixtures around the soffet,,,,lots of light,,,,,with my eyes you can't have to much light,,,,,as well the layout will be 48" to 56" tall,,,,easier on older eyesight,,,,eyelevel looks more realistic to me,,,,,thanks again for the welcome backs,,
