Hi All. We had to go to the grocery store today. Many people wearing masks. I was wishing I had a mean looking pit bull on a six foot leash to keep everyone away. Got what we needed quick and left. Things at the old folks home are still quiet with no virus on the campus yet.

Hope everyone stays well. Roland

Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and a variety of cold sodas are ready to go.

Maybe sunny, with a high near 55.

Tom, all the best for your BIL and his situation.

Philip, thanks and same to you.

Jerry, you going to post before and after pics of the kitchen?

Karl, thank you yes, feeling better.

Dave, good to hear from you and thanks for stopping in.
I'll check out your thread when I'm done here.

Roland, stay well.

Dog is still used to my work schedule and is up at 3:00.
She'll probably figure it out when it's time for me to go back.

Have a great day everyone.

Bright sun, 37 going to ~50 today. Dense fog at first, itís cleared out, outside. Still a bit between the ears.

Painted and installed the tunnel portal on the layout, did some decals on an old F3 Iíve had sitting around for some time. EMDs donít get any sort of priority here in Alco territory.

A short road trip out in the back roads yesterday to keep the craziness at bay. Some things are starting to sprout along the roads and flower beds, the lilacs are budding. Governor Gretched has tacked another 70 days onto the shut down, sick folks are increasing, mostly closer to Detroit. Lots of little eateries and job shops will probably fold up before there is any normality. But, even then, normal will be something different than we expect.

How about the nutcase in California that derailed the train trying to attack the hospital ship moored there...more loons in the shadows, Iím sure.

Everyone have have a good day.

Good morning,

Rick, thanks for coffee. It is hard to retrain a dog once they have locked in a schedule. Daylight savings comes to mind. Good luck!

71F here today, rain. It is spring so storms too.

Wife went to grocery store yesterday and got everything on the list. Did see tp though.

Not sure what they day holds. One hour at a time.

Have fun and be safe,
Mike

Good morning. So Wisconsin will hit the 50ís today and my wife would like some tilling done around the greenhouses! The engineer on that engine will be found incompetent before trial, he definitely is a nut or loony as Karl says. It is only going to get worse before better but we will get there.

Everyone be safe

Good morning!

Gena went out yesterday grocery shopping. Still no TP.

Then the hot water heater inlet pipe started leaking. Then to the hardware store for a fitting that I didn't have. Keep in mind I had every fitting EXCEPT the one needed! So we are up and running again.

When she went to the store they thought they were being robbed as she wore a mask. Social distancing obviously isn't happening in Kentucky. We are still hunkered down until provisions run out again. Two cases of covid 19 in our county. Glad we live in the hick boones!

Still screwing around with the sand tower, lots of progress but no photo updates yet. The tower is done and the drying building is framed waiting for roofing & window install. Not tooting my own horn but dang.

Mowed a couple days ago and it already needs another mow. Pressure washing some exterior siding is on the do list. looks like hell..

Encourage you to go hang out at the lemkerailroad1 thread. Lots of progress!

Also Keith Wiseman has some hard to find Grandt parts and others he just got in. Ted PMed me said a pod storage thingie was delivered a couple weeks ago. Keith was also on FB last night making that announcement. He's open.

Have a good day!

Philip

Good evening! I lost my cat today. Was walking around the neighborhood expecting the worst. As far as I know he's been missing all day. My Son said he didn't let him out this morning so I'm checking the vehicles to see if he's inside one of them..nothing. I unlock the shed and he comes running out! Far as I know he was in there for 12 hours! You see when I went out there last night looking for the plumbing tools he slipped in. My wife was frantic all day! Me too that little crap head!

Have a great evening! A bottle of Makers Mark on the counter!

Philip

Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and a variety of cold sodas are ready to go.

A chance of showers. Cloudy, with a high near 54

Philip, glad you found the cat.

A run to the grocery for just s a few things.
If it doesn't rain I'll get some more things done outside.

Stay in your bunkers, stay healthy and have a great day.

Philip, when I was a kid we had a cat that we couldn't find for almost a week.
She was found in a closet in the basement.
Cats are tough.
