Sunny and mid 20s in MI this mornng with crums and spitting mess possible to some degree. Of course it will rain or snow as I had my truck washed while I was out yesterday.

We called a fridge repair, got an answering machine and they never returned the call. I examined the water line that had leaked, a you tube or two and went off to Menards and bought a replacement and did it all myself. Won't be using the repair place if they can't call you back.

Plenty still to do here. Never ends.

Good morning folks,

Rick, thanks for the coffee. Happy work week to you.

Karl, hope the cleanup and repair progresses smoothly. Congrats on the DIY repair.

It's 44F today and headed to 73F this afternoon. Sunny, no rain.

I have so much to do, that I don't know where to start...maybe after coffee.

Have fun,
Mike

The project looks great Larry!

Well missed the morning crowd...thanks for opening Rick!

Karl you most likely saved yourself $300 in this day and age of $80hr labor + trip and repair parts! Went to Lowes and the water filter was $49. Got it off ebay with free S&H for $30. Sticker shock..

Mike, one day at at time don't over do it.

Have a great trip Jerry!

Follow up to the doc later. I can hear him say ..Mr. Smith your old... bla, bla, bla,

Philip

Good afternoon from bright So. Wisconsin. The melt is occurring and the white stuff is disappearing. Back from a stupid, my fault, trip to the local casino. While Terry won what would be 3 or 4 sound equipped diesels in HO, I lost the amount of 1 just DCC ready. She wanted something different and we had not stopped at a casino in about 8-9 months. When I was working we would
Hit the casino 2 times a week at least, we both loved it. In retirement, it is just not something we enjoy anymore.

Making a hamburger for lunch and chips. Stopped at the Hobby Lobby and almost left without buying. We are going to ride the trails this afternoon out to the new house build. She will be surprised as I told the contractor to build the stables before he sided the house an he called last week and said the stables are ready. This was supposed to be built after the house but I know she misses her horses. This will be the 1 st trip to the house since the footings were put in. Enjoy the rest of the day.

Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and a variety of cold sodas are ready to go.

Rain, mainly after noon. High near 47.

Tom, only gambling I do is the occasional lottery ticket.
I only need to win once.

Philip, good luck with the doc.

Mike, it's a cliche, but best to start at the beginning.

Jerry, hope you enjoyed your visit.

Karl, glad you got the fridge fixed.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning and thanks Rick for moving this day along. I have been up a few times instead of sleeping, now finally in the cave. I started a cough and the cough drops only stop it for about an hour. I donít need this after being sick last week. I am taking the grandson to the State Hockey tournament as the local High School is again in the championship round. Then tomorrow we head to Minneapolis for the UW Wonens hockey team in conference finals, they are still #2 in the country.

Maybe sitting up in my chair will alieve the cough and I can get a few hours of sleep. Enjoy your day.
Tom

Rain and some wind in Michigan this morning. Some sun but more wind later in the day will keep it in the cold range.

The repair seems to be holding and the Doll shampooed the carpet in the area that got really wet and it all looks really good.

Made a trip to my old hometown yesterday and closed out the checking account I kept there while dealing with my mother's estate. I have it all wrapped up and there is nothing left there to come back any time soon. It's been since September 1966 since I lived there. Memories weren't that great anyhow.

Everyone have a great day, don't forget your clocks, we don't want anyone dragging in here at the wrong time Sunday. Daylight change is my Christmas....a gift of hours of more daylight throughout the rest of the year living at the West end of the Eastern time zone makes some terrific amounts of evening time.

Good day all...I may be absent tomorrow as I'm scheduled to go over to Bruce Chubb's for an ops session. It's been several weeks since I was there.

Good morning folks,

Thanks for coffee, Rick!

It's a bright day on the Brazos, headed to 67F.

Just canceled a cruise Sharon and I had planned for May. I don't like cruising that much anyway, so it was no loss.

Tackling the to do list by having my second cup of coffee with my feet up and chillin'.

Have fun,
Mike

Good evening from So. Wisconsin where it is 31f clear degrees. I tossed a few logs to get the fire ROaring to warm this place up.
I see a Rick left some stouts in the frig. I broke out the bottle of Eagle Rare and I see a couple of the wine bottles in the cooler.
Settle down and relax.

I texted with the son in Austin just after they cancelled South by Southwest a huge entertainment festival in March because of the virus.
His latest G/F has been working for FB from home this week but because of the cancellation of the fest she will lose about $20,000.
from something she sells. He explained it but I could figure it out. Something techie. He said Austin is devastated and itís only been a
few hours since the cancellation.

The lounge is empty, did look in early but had errand to run so catching up.

Taking it easy again today, MRI on the horizon hopefully next week.

Tom that festival sounds like a good gig was cancelled because of corona as I understand. That sucks, a lot of money lost and fans will sure be upset but undestanding. Folk are hunkering down trying to avoid that virus, seems it is almost in every state. Hope it passes!

Fashioned up an approach track today off the turntable for the loco shed. HO code 83 with narrow gauge length PCB board, wood ties every 4th tie. Maybe hammer it down tomorrow. I want it done before the sander tower deal is continued with. Real estate is tight in devil mt holler.

I'll throw some logs on the fire so it will be easy for Rick

Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and a variety of cold sodas are ready to go.

Mostly cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 47.

Philip and Tom, thanks for keeping the place warm.

Even with some events being canceled worldwide I guarantee it won't keep my passengers away and my trains will be packed.

Have a great day everyone.
