Good morning Rick and incoming. Be safe at work Rick and thanks for getting us going. So. Wisconsin is to get a mix of white and rain
But the forecast is confusing. Maybe 4” of white then a quarter inch of rain. We’ll see because as I look out the windows I see no new
ground cover. Not sure what the plan is for today but since the roads seem fine, the fitness center. Enjoy your day.

Good morning all. Hazy sun and upper 20s in MI today. Low 30s maybe later as the weather trips and falls into "Wintry Mixology" for the over night, some snow and snrain...to become schlopz...meteorological terms.

Nascar had a rainout yesterday, may put that on in the background today.

We watched the first segment of WASHINGTON on the History Channel last evening, forgot about it until late so was able to recall from the start and it was well after midnight before it wrapped up. Part 2 is tonight at 8. A lot of information I'd never known about the guy. He's portrayed as rather angry throughout.

Mike: " May get hearing aids. " that'll be another hit to the hobby budget!, I'm on my second set, couldn't get by without them. Still have days where I even have trouble WITH them.

Model stuff and tax stuff to do.

Great Day, all.

Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and a variety of cold sodas are ready to go.

Rain in the afternoon with temps in the low 50's.

Jerry, thanks for reaching out to Dave and letting us know he's OK.

Karl and Mike, I've always had issues with hearing.
Not from hearing sounds or music but the spoken word.
Even when I was young I always didn't understand what people were saying.
Now when I watch television I always have the closed captioning on so I don't miss anything.

Tom, hope the white stuff stayed away.

Bike ride this morning and Mom's house in the PM.
Maybe the dog will let me listen to the stereo tonight.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning,

Rick, thanks for coffee.

My big fear about hearing aids is their affect on music. I seem to hear music well, but like Rick, understanding certain syllables is tough. I used closed captions, too.

59F is forecast for today, down from 84F yesterday.

Off to work at lodge today.

Have fun,
Mike

Good morning from very deeply covered So Wisconsin from a rain event that turned into no rain and lots of white. Heavy white stuff that they say the airport reporting station was 8”. Looks to me that we have more then that but until me and my snowblower get out there 8” it is. Movie day and we shall see The Photograph. The trailers have looked awesome for the last 6 months or so. The movie list to see is getting thinner, lots out there but we are not into the horror stuff.

Be safe to all.

We've had 2-3 inches of snow and it seems that most has already gone off of the walk and driveway with the higher sun angle. Temp in 20s today.

Lots to do.

Everyone have a good day.

Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and a variety of cold sodas are ready to go.

Mostly sunny, with a high near 46.
I'm starting to think I should just post what yesterdays weather was because the forecasts are wrong so many times.
Yesterday they said that it would rain all afternoon.
Didn't see a drop and it was in the 60's.
Got some stuff done outside.

Bike ride first thing this morning.
Then grocery shopping and meal prep.
Probably just relaxing the rest of the day.

Have a great day everyone.

Sunshine and 15 this morning, should be breezy and cold all day today and tomorrow. Mild here compared to the Mackinac area where they closed the Bridge part of the day due to high winds.

I've weathered 4 cars so far this week, 3 reefers and a B&O wagon top box. Tinkering with the pulpwood car build as well.

No big plans so far. Everyone have a good day.

Good morning from the refrozen tundra of So. Wisconsin where the official white fall is 52+” . The normal full season totals are around 42”. It is cold at 7f degrees but the wind is picking up, with a high of 20 and wind chills not going above 0.

My son’s dog in Austin passed last night with Brian being in Houston. Ruckus was around 15 and with Bri for 13 years. I never knew the friendship of a dog like I saw with Brian and Ruckus. Such a lovely being and just loved kids, cats, other dogs, Terry’s horses and the occasional rattlesnake that he just never learned weren’t his friend! I wrote more about Ruckus in the Wednesday Lounge.

The movie yesterday was The Photograph. On the watchable meter 6 out of 10. Very well done but very slow. Not worth a ticket of $11 or more but was ok for 5. Terry’s main comment was, “they are beautiful people”. She liked it less then I did.

Enjoy your day.

Good morning folks,

Rick, thanks for coffee.

Jerry, indeed I have plans for the volume feature.

Tom, hate to hear about your Son's dog. It's so very sad to lose a pet.

It's 43F and raining all day. Ugh.

I'm headed to Fort Worth this morning to meet with a group of folks from the Texas Western and share my design and vision for the Houston and Port Aransas part of the layout.

Have fun,
Mike

Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and a variety of cold sodas are ready to go.

Cloudy and low 40's.

Tom, very sorry to read about your son's dog.
My condolences.
When it happened to me it affected me much harder than I thought it would.

It's the start of another week at work.

Have a great day everyone.
