Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and Diet Dr Pepper are ready to go.

Summer weather continues toady with temps reaching the low 90's.

Hi Dave, nice to have you in the lounge.
The difference between me retiring at 65 instead of 66 1/2 isn't worth the extra time.
RR retirement will be more than SS and I've been good at saving my money.
Why not stop in more often?

Tom, donuts and Mario Cart sounds like a good time.

Jerry, today should be a beach day.

Mike, I'm sure you sold a lot of BBQ.

Yesterday was crazy busy and the passengers were equally crazy.
Used a vacation day today for a much needed day off.

Bike ride in the AM.
Fire up the grill later for a cheese burger, some beers and football.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning from wet Wisconsin. Hasnít stopped raining since midnight and goes till around 6PM. Thanks Rick for getting this day going.

Retirement, such a personal decision. I did it at 62 my wife at 56 and no matter the age you chose you need to have something to keep you busy beyond your partnerís honey do list.

Trains are where I will be today. Tore part of my Paper Mill down, basically the shipping end of the Mill will be changing. Not a big deal but to me it is, the FaceBook group Model Railroad Shelf Layouts is using a picture of my pulp yard as this weekís cover shot. My brother who is on vacation in Italy texted me last night as he noticed it.

Enjoy your day
TomO

Good morning folks,

Rick, thanks for coffee.

It's cooler today at 93F on the first day of fall, but temps are falling much. The mid nineties are forecast for the remainder of the week. Ugh!

Going to clean the back porch this morning, then goings on at lodge tonight.

Happy Monday,
Mike

Good morning from crispy clear So. Wisconsin where after 3 solid days of rain, none is predicted for today, but tomorrow...

Thanks Rick for moving the 1st day of autumn forward. Mike, we have Downton Abbey scheduled for tomorrow and Ad Astral for Friday. Not sure about DT but Terry was a big fan of the TV show so no choice there but the better movies are starting to appear. No Rambo does not count as a better movie!

After 3 solid days of heavy rain and 6 rain days out of the last 7 I am avoiding the trainroom. I canít take making anymore changes as I have to re-do the messes I made. Enjoy your day.

Good morning, thanks Philip for opening and the breakfast. Today looks like another nice but crisp day but that changes to heavy rains around midnight. I did not go into the trainroom yesterday as I promised my self. I have already spent 30 minutes this morning at the workbench.

Enjoy the day

Good afternoon everyone.

I didn't budget my time this morning well enough to open the lounge.

Philip, thanks for taking care of that.

Jerry, sorry about your neighbor.

It's a beautiful sunny day with temps in the upper 80's.
Going to start my weekend outside doing some yard work then come inside for a bike ride.

Some beers and sitting in front of the stereo later.

Have a great day everyone.

Good afternoon from my deck in So. Wisconsin on a beautiful afternoon. It hit 81 so the weather guy is so far 9 degrees off forecast. We are back from the movie Downton Abby already as all the shows after 1:45 are sold out. It was good entertainment and for a person who has not seen 1 minute of the TV it wasnít hard to follow. But the people seeing it knew all the insid3=stuff and loved it, even applauded at the end.

Rick, management of time can be tough at times. Enjoy your beer and music.

Tom

Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and Diet Dr Pepper are ready to go.

Very sunny and low 80's here today.

Tom, thanks for the review and glad you enjoyed it.

Some more yard work and a bike ride for sure today.
Rest of the day I'll play by ear.

Have a great day everyone.
