DC or PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) like DCC.

The voltage in your DC power pack or DCC command station needs to go through a transformer to bring down the voltage to 12 to 16 volts and then changed into DC or PMW.

I know your pulling my leg on this one Jim.

I just saw this topic. I bought the MM unit a couple years ago and it works just fine. A lot less money than AB.
