Greg, The NEB&W has Dubois Store in its Saratoga scene.

It may have been modified a little to more closely match the prototype in that location. It looks good, but it was built before I was at the club, so not sure if there were problems.

I built the Laser Arts Shoreham Covered Bridge kit for the club. (Photo of kit version of the bridge).

It was the first laser kit I built. It was fairly heavily modified to backdate it to its 1950 appearance and to straddle a permanently installed oak strip that the track was mounted to, so any assembly difficulties I figured were a combination of my lack of experience and all the changes. It turned out well though in the end.

The Dubois store is one of their kits that has caught my eye in the past.

Bill, I had not seen the covered bridge kit before.
You did an excellent job on your version of it.
Thanks for sharing the pics with us!

Mike, your post & Bill's distant shot of this Dubois store, made me decide to post some pics off the boxes so others who haven't seen it can get a look of what we are talking about.

Here is the store shot.

And the interior detailing kit.

Greg, as usual, a great eye and build skills. I rid myself of all my Laser Art Structures as they never quite looked like the box photos or fit together as such. Always a problem somewhere.

Thanks, David & Ted, for your kind words!

David, after building this one, I can appreciate your decision.

Ted, I will try to take some pics of it outside.

Nice photo! Just occurred to me, Greg, with the main color of the house being white it could be called Blanche Dubois :)

You could also say the house is “Stella!”

Thanks! Mike, Craig & Carl, for your posts and kind words.

Mike, I think Bill & I have been having a good influence on you.

Craig, I also purchased the Tower house kit.
These kits in O scale must be huge!
