A quick short video from the 2018 FineScape Expo contest room. There were very few entries and the lighting was poor to take good video. However, it is what is was and this video might just give you some ideas.

There was a diorama/module at the 2018 FineScale Expo that had lots of fine structures and mini scenes. It was the best part of the show IMHO.

Thanks for posting those videos.

Any idea on who built the O'Neill's and the motorcycle?

Congratulations to all the modelers.
They're all winners.

As you think, so will you be.

rick,
i'm not positive, but i think the motorcycle/figure was done by an excellent modeler named joel. i don't know his last name but his work can be viewed at the sierra west scale models forum.
that could be his version of o'neill's as well.

if you suck at playing the trumpet...that's probably why.

Great to see such detailed models. I wish we had something like this out on the west coast.

The motorcycle diorama and the O'Neill's builds were both done by Joel Freidman.
He is an incredible modeler and has won several other awards at previous "Expo's" including more than one 'Best of Show'.

As previously mentioned, Joels outstanding build and progress of his O'Neill's diorama can be followed in detail on the SWSM site.

Thanks Kevin and Karl, I'll have to go and check out his work at SWSM.
