Thanks, Bill and Bernd!!

Carl, the fence is just vinyl window screen painted aluminum and cut diagonally. The posts are wood dowels that I carved the pointy things at the top in with a needle file or two.

Thanks, Frank and Mike !!

The gate is in.

Oops, just noticed the sign.

I also found this casting I had forgotten I had, so I did some excavating.

It's an HO Gondola load but I'll eventually add other junk to hide the more obvious tell-tale signs of it's origin.

Still scavenging for salvage.

The break area.

And the salvaged salvage sign.

Like Dino on the sign, the junk looks headed for extinction.

Fred beautiful detail. Perfect coloring on that pile of junk.

Brett at SierraWest would love it!!

Thanks, Jerry !!

Progress has been slow as of late. In small part due to the holidays, in larger part due to me fighting some sort of flu-like ailment since Thursday. But I'm still doing some scrounging for salvage and scraping up scrap.

I've added a bit of interior to the workshop part of the building, just so it looks like there is one.

I'm also making sure everything is placed exactly where it should be, according to Article 27, Section 2b of the "Salvage Yard Owners" handbook.

Fred, I hope your Tetanus shots are up to date.
You wouldn't want to cut yourself while handling all of those rusty bits & pieces.
It all looks wonderful!

Id say your work is neat but its really a mess. It looks like the owner was trying for some semblance of order but failed. Very good work.
