Louis, your logging horse car was again, a very interesting and unique model.
And you did a excellent job of bringing it all together!

It's really wonderful to see everyone's modeling endeavors all over again.
With some new ones, that I didn't catch the first time around.

Fantastic modeling everyone!

This next one from me, was one that I fell in love with as soon as I saw it.
It's from a Canadian company called "Imagine That Laser Art" ITLA for short.
The Southside Hotel is a beautiful building and kit!
Here is how my version of it came out looking.

Additional photos and info can be seen here.

My next project was to build coal cars and prop cars for the mine. They started as MiniTrains HOn30 cars.

Sal's Surplus & Salvage was completed in February as part of last year's winter build challenge. It incorporated one of the boxcar shells given free from the NMRA to local Divisions. (HO Scale)

Dang Dave, you were busy this year.

Carl you were a late finisher but you placed really nice.

This was my putter around year. No structures just some bashing.

Thanks, Frank !

The pines, on the right, are wood dowels and wire. The trees on the left are Woodland Scenics HO trees I had from the past. Many are spliced onto wood dowels to add height. All are coated with dirt, for texture, and stained with I/A. The foliage is also Woodland Scenics clump foliage, for the most part.

Thanks for asking !

Next up for me was a combined lamp house and medical office for my anthracite mine. I used the modular DPM walls, painted on a couple signs, and added details like the foundation, blinds, chimney, scuppers, and downspouts. A pretty basic model.

My next project was a billboard built from a GC Laser kit. Instead of using the artwork supplied with the kit, I made my own. I found a poster, online, that advertised coal. I used GIMP to reproduce the artwork ias a billboard in shape and size. This will be mounted on the roof of my coal mine's office bilding.
