Great update Greg. Lovely to see as always.

Dont even get me started on what the Us dollar has done to our currency. Some kits on ebay are going for pretty much the same amount as my monthly bond repayment due to the exchange rate.

Greg, Nice progress. The deck and handrail look good and the sand bunkers now protect the crew when you stack crates in the dynamite shack.

Thanks guys! For your interest and for your posts.

Hi everyone, well you've probably been wondering what's happening with this build.
I haven't had a lot of time to work on it, because my daughter & son-in-law have recruited me to help out with a new addition on their house.
And Dad( that's me) has lots of expertise with home renovations, and I don't cost them a cent.
Which suits their budget quite well!
So I've had to put this build kind of on the back burner while I give them a hand.
I have however managed to squeeze in a few new things with my build.
I painted the lower portion of my base flat black, and even painted the white plaster cloth and foam a earth tone colour.
I built a roof for the dynamite shed using a piece of cardstock braced with wood on the bottom, and corrugated roofing on the top.

I even built a Jordan Mack dump truck that will come in handy for making future deliveries for this developing business.

Just thought I'd let you know what's happening.
Thanks for having a look!

Greg

Greg,

This is looking really good right now. Love the close-up of the dynamite locker.

And as I look out the window at the white gifts from above arriving in multitudes, I am really enjoying that brown color you now have prominently displayed!

Thanks! Pete, Dave & Jerry, for your continued interest and posts.

Pete, no snow here yet, I bet that just jinxed that good luck now.

Dave, as you already know, it's very rewarding to help your kids out when they need you.
I just hope they look after us, when that time comes.

Jerry, if we only lived closer to one another, I'd be there to help you out with your needs.
Sorry that I can't.

Thanks again guys!
Greg

Greg, I would be very surprised, in fact shocked, if you were NOT a good dad.

We had a dusting of snow yesterday, I think Pete's sending it down from Michigan.

and BTW, the diorama is looking better and better, good job!!

Bob, I feel like I won the parent lottery with my Mom & Dad, who raised 6 of us.
So I feel that I should try and make my 2 daughters feel the same way about us.
They are both teachers now, one is a now kindergarten teacher working in the Bahamas.
And the other one is teaching primary classes right here in Canada.
I am so very proud of both my daughters!
Thanks for your kind words!

Greg

Hi Greg:

Frank B And I built the first 2 kits together. I really like the changes you are making and can't wait to see the end results.

Hi Karl, glad to read that you like my changes so far to this kit.
I would love to see what you and Frank did with your kits.
Please feel free to post some photos of what you 2 have accomplished with your Dunn's.

Greg
