Bill, Greg, and Bruce, thanks for your comments.

The heavy accumulation of snow in the crotch of the tree and the branch with leaves was
done with plaster. When that had set I sprayed several coats of matte clear down
from the top and sprinkled each with the same "snow' pellets as was done on the shed.
The tree is now ready to be planted on the dio base.

Looks good, Bob! And that's more snow on that one branch than we've gotten here this entire winter so far.

Nice work Bob!

Just curious, is that a particular brand of photo backdrop of clouds in your photo? I like it.

Bill, Carl, and Greg, thanks again for your comments.

Carl, That's an old (very old) Model RR background that I have had stuck to a sheet
of foamcore to use as a background. Must be 50 years or more old. I just checked in case there was
some brand name on the back but nothing there. Here's more of it.

The black on the top and edge are not there, That was my lighting.

Bob,
Great tree modeling! I never saw this approach of adding snow covered leaves to a tree. You nailed it!!

Dave, Fred,, and Ray, thanks for your comments.

I glued the tree into it's hole and added the first coat of plaster snow. Like the snow on
the roof of the spring house that plaster is only to form the bulk of the snow, more to come.

Bob, what a beautiful looking scene that you have almost completed there!
Almost looks like something out of a fairy tale story.

This is like looking out my window, with the partial sun and the WGFA all over everything. Nicely done, Bob!
