I built the same kit. An excellent kit. Worth every penny it cost. I was going to shorten mind but got cold feet.

That's looking great! I hope to be where you are now, on my wharf, by the end of the week. This is timely. I plan on staining my sticks first. I'm looking forward to seeing how your waves turn out.

The waves are pretty much done,
Where there are waves missing is where the boat will sit,
I will take an updated pic tonight to show what it will look like

just a little update on the paddle boat, waiting on instructions to deal with the paddle and all its fine detail

this is not the final color of the building as it will be a really bad weathered white

If you think the paddle wheel was a PITA wait until you start the stays! If you're like me it may be worth while considering getting a swear jar now!

Make sure the cat is out of the room when you tackle them!!!

Hint - You have to be very very accurate with the length and bends in the stays.
