Larry, Good to hear from you again. Sorry to hear about your wife, she must be getting tried of all this. Hope everything goes well.

I was sitting in my favorite chair Sun afternoon when I heard a very loud noise like a propane tank exploding, and the whole house shook. Turns out we had a very mild earthquake. No damage but it sure got our attention. Not something that happens much in Pa

Good evening all! Well it was a hot humid day here in Alabama, a good time to stay in the A.C. and do some modeling. I have built most of a Banta shortline water tank and started on a boxcar.
For your evening repast we have fresh grilled Gulf shrimp and fried red snapper. Fresh coleslaw as a side and plenty of cold soda and beer. I cleaned the glass at the end of the bar and noticed it has some Jamison left in it. Hmmmm.

Hey all,
Morning shift is in! Coffee has been replenished. Home-made banana bread is on the counter. Big day for us as our eldest graduates university today.
Fred...AC?! That is a foreign thing up here - still have the heat on.
Have a good day!
Cheers,
Dave

David, I live sooo close to the gulf it's only 30 miles away. Yup Alabama agrees with these old Chi-town bones. Lol

For those of you seeking something to eat and drink I have prepared a number of items. First up is homemade venison chili, then we have some Salisbury steaks and gravy. For sides we have coleslaw and Amish potato salad. For your evening libations I have brought along some PBR, strong black coffee and some Dr. Wham soda.so for those just stopping by or tying up for the night, enjoy.
Fred

Mark, I hope you're getting better every day. I am still recovering too. But I can see light at the end of the tunnel, and it isn't an oncoming train. Lol.
I brought some scrambled eggs this morning for brunch. And some fresh Florida orange juice. How about some bagels and schmere.

We are going to make an attempt today to get back to scenery in the back corner of my layout
Hopefully I can get it done today so I can get the mountain up in front of that scene built since I have bridge kits ordered for the entire layout

Busy morning turned into slow afternoon so I have some time to kill. Rain is keeping motorcycle customers away (wusses!). Thanks for snacks. Two surprises today. My 4-4-0 On30 American showed up today and I get to pick up my Banta Craftsman mine kit from the post office.
Have a good weekend!
Cheers,
Dave

Anyone up for pan fried pork cutlets? I brought about thirty tonight with mashed taters gravy and apple sauce. I also brought some sangria and soda too.
Today I intended to get somewhere with my projects, but I got into watching a couple of old Charlton Hesston movies. Plus I wound up taking a nap after dinner so the light for pictures faded.
So much for being awake. Artritis med do that Dontcha know.now then yet.

I see everyone went elsewhere for breakfast.
It's lunchtime and I've got pizza coming out of the oven so help yourself. I prefer the Supreme topping (everything) so pick off the stuff you don't like, LOL
Afternoon plan is to work in the raised beds and get ready for spring planting. Maybe this year we'll get a decent harvest.
