Good morning On30er and lurkers. Pumped up on railblender java from the main lounge. Friday is here, what are you working on? I spend more time dreaming than actually modeling!

Good Day!

Philip

Morning All, not much going on just the same ol things.

My health issues get in the way of my modeling most of the time.

Everyone have a great day.

Hey, .....company!!
I'll have some of that coffee. Been noodling on some problems to allow me to cut my LED light strips for the shadow box and then reconnect them to join the modules again. I think I have it but won't implement until (hopefully) the weekend. Also been designing my engine house, based on Tom Matthews 2012 version and the Sierra West one. I'm having fun drawing in Sketchup and I'm putting more detail than I need. I wasn't planning on having it open to view so why I'm bothering with all the timbering is a mystery.
Have a good weekend!
Cheers,
Dave

Hey Mark et al,
Thanks for opening. Work today but the rain is not attracting too many motorcycle riders.
Really hoping to get some fascia/valance installed this weekend.
Cheers,
Dave

Morning all -- coffee is on and juice is in the fridge. Headed out for Sunday brunch so didn't prepare anything -- may be left over bagels in the cupboard.

Son in law finished his training to transition into CRJ series aircraft so he now has his Delta Airlines wings. Begins flight schedule on Friday with a four day trip.

The boss and I are headed back to Ocean view today after a LONG week of grandparent duty. Guess we will be back in mid-May if needed. Looked at some houses here, half as big as our curent home with property taxes 3 or 4 times higher -- have to think long and hard about whether to move up here to help on an ongoing basis!

Everyone have a good day.

Bill

Evening all!
I spent a quiet evening doing some repairs to my 4-4-0 that occurred during the move south. I replaced the rear tender steps and put new ones on the pilot. Then added more coal to the tender.
I have been busy with my wife as I am her caregiver. We are waiting on a date for her surgery to remove a extra large fatty tumor. It is big enough to impede her ability to walk. Prayers and positive thoughts will be appreciated.

Mark, I will include you in my prayers. Health problems can really cause us to get a little depressed and of course that might ask our focus. Believe me been there done that.
Hope you get better soon. Then back to your narrow minded hobby.

Good morning all you loungers. I put the coffee on and brewed some tea for you guys. I also brought the fixings for some sun dried tomato turkey sandwhiches. And some golden flake potato chips. (Its an Alabama thing) also there's Diet Dr. Pepper cherry in the fridge. Everyone have a great day. And thank you Mark for your kind words.

Where is everyone? Stopped by with two 24 packs of PBR and some chips, dip and pretzels for a snack. There is still left over Turkey and sandwhich fixin's so I will just make me one and drink some soda. Then head home.
Fred.

Hey Mark, thanks for opening. Weekend was not spent in front of the computer so no checking in. Spent Monday with my lady running errands and picking up hobby stuff. Managed to get my valance and fascia pieces cut but that's it. On the other hand, got about 6 bins, the size of 65 gal drum, of brush clippings put out for the compost pick up.
Cheers,
Dave

Hi all,
Sorry I have been away so long. Travel and the NHL play-offs have been keeping me busy. I hope everyone starts to mend soon. My wife goes in for her 6th major surgery in 6 years, next week, so I feel your pain.

Larry, hope all goes well for your wife. We are starting to look, again, at renos that are feasible under our budget. The dream reno won't happen unless some drops loads of cash on us so we are now down to the more realistic what-can-Dave-do-on-own reno.
I think a coffee is in order to contemplate the options.
Cheers,
Dave
