Terrell,
Great idea. Looking at the photo of your layout, I have lots of questions, but I have the feeling that you're going to answer them along the way.
Your machine shop looks wonderful.

Thank you, Gentlemen!
I should have said I haven't been working on this since 2008. I finished the last phase/module/building in early 2010. They've been sitting on a shelf in a spare bedroom, collecting dust, until I resurrected them earlier this year.
We'll get into all of that later.

Thanks, Guys!!
While I have a little free time, phase 2 of this project was adding on to the rear of the machine shop. The addition was later to become the wheel repair shop, which also has a detailed interior.

And it's still only 24" x 16".

Moving right along. Phase 3 was building this Blacksmith shop.

But in late 2010 I did something I swore I would never do, I sold it. I made an exception for a couple of very good friends. That's ok, it gave me the opportunity to build another one in early 2011.

Almost forgot. The original shop included Smitty.

He started out as this....

Before going all to pieces...
