Hi Troles, have you ever thought about doing a Troles painting of the layout for sale and also making copies for sale . It seams it's right in you wheel-house. Tom

The old proverbial bump.

Good morning, Troels. Have not heard a peep out of you.

Hope the art business is going great.

Merry Christmas to you and the family.

Hope to see some art work and model railroad pics.

Have a great day.

Thank you Rich!

Nothing to show, sorry... Had a wonderful afternoon in the shed with a 13 year old newcomer to the hobby. Glad this hobby still can compete with the cyber world!

I sold a railroad painting just the other day, so there's an opening to paint a replacement :)

A happy holiday to all of you!

Here is the old bump again.

Hope all is OK over your way. The usual here, same old, same old.

Santa is probably loading up his sleigh. It won't be long now.

Have a very Merry Christmas and hopefully a very prosperous New Year.

Thanks for the bump, Rich!!
I have actually been several times in the shed... to find ideas for a couple of paintings from the railroad... The first was finished on friday, and I have begun work on the second... So although I have been in the shed because of work, I at least have spent time there

The first painting is of Ericson's Wharf at first light in the morning... but no train stuff in that one, sorry

Ericson's Wharf. I have always liked this model. It is very interesting with all the detail you have in it.

I'm sure that on your layout there are probably a lot of 'scenes' that could make great paintings out of. Maybe you have hit a gold mine for painting ideas.

Good luck.

Have a great day.

Rich

I love your painting! Still life in its finest form.
My Mother is an artist working mainly now with pastels. I have enjoyed your paintings as well as your modeling the past few years now. Thanks for sharing

Well, Mr. Kirk, you have been too quiet. Hope all is well over your way.

Not much cooking down my way, either.

This freaky weather we are having is for the birds.

Later.

Rich

Soooorrrryyy... working way too much to get ready for the easter show... Two months lost in 2017 because of my bad leg means extra work now... thankfully I still have fun painting, and don't feel stressed at all. But time is precious, so no diversions :)

Cheers Troels

Troels, seeing all of your creative works has been a true inspiration and a gift. For me, I can honestly say, your railroad building series, from start to end, is a journey I dont think i will ever forget. I love trains so much and your work is a dream.

Your paintings are also fabulous and if I had the means I would own as many as I could!

Best Wishes from a fan in the USA!

-Ben

Troels,

I guess the Easter show has you jumping .....
and painting.

Not to much happening down my way. Waiting on spring and some pleasant weather.

I'm an outside person, don't care to stay cooped up in the house.

Well, have a great day.

Rich, I have indeed spent almost all awake hours at the easel... thankfully the weather outside is unusually bad, minus 10C this morning, so I don't mind the long hours... almost done with the necessary paintings for the easter show now. Sunday 25th is the VIP preview, and the ordinary opening is friday 30th. Phew...

Detailed paintings take a lot of time...
