Looks great Larry. Can't wait to see it in person. I think the Shnozzer will need to do a lap or two.

Roland,
As far as I know this will be a stand alone railroad to take to shows.
Andy,
Looking forward to the Shnoozzer doing laps.
Verne,
Thank you for the compliments, I am enjoying this Arizona modeling and it is great practice for when I try to rebuild Apache Wells.
Grant,
Thanks for stopping in, a word to the wise on the curved bridge, do the track first then glue on the bents.

I am starting to fill in the hundreds of details to this mini layout. I just finished the work bench and added stairs to one of the bunk houses and some tin signs.

I am thinking of building a scene with the steps to the lean-to being under repair.

Hi Larry, I feel bad that I haven't checked in to see what you've been up too here lately.
Some really great looking modeling happening in this very small space!

Keep up the great work!

Thanks for stopping in Greg and for the nice comments.
This project was stalled for months as I tried to figure out what to use for stone foundations and additional retaining walls along the tracks, I finally overcame that mental block.

I wanted to post an overview of the progress on the whole layout. This is as close as I have ever got to finishing a mini layout.

Any ideas for mini scenes?

Looks great. That mine would be the focal point on any model railroad.

Larry, That's really nice. For a mini scene maybe some mining equipment being worked on or a steam donkey torn apart. Also a Model T might fit. Just a few ideas.

Thank you all for stopping in for a look and for the encouragement.

Bill,
This a desert module so there will be a little more green added but mostly just sand and rocks.

Roland,
I will have to dig around and see what I have that could look torn apart. I will be adding some mechanical pieces to the mine building soon.

I need to also build the chutes for the ore bin.

Please keep any ideas or suggestions comming. I would like to take this layout to a show or two this year.
