Looks fantastic! The "Estrella" name is being kept alive on my layout as well, Larry. There will be a small mining camp called "Estrella Gulch" built next to San Lorenzo.

Thanks for the encouragement Dave, Les and Bill. I have to figure out some modifications to the mine building and build another shed so I can keep this project moving.

Just looked through this thread again, after a few months absence. The layout is looking good, Larry. I like the weathering you did on the Porter.

This is shaping up very nicely, great work Larry.

I like that it's evolving and adapting as new ideas arise.

Thank you all for the kind words and encouragement. I am trying to fit in the remaining structures today. I am trying to use up some prebuilt items I have.

Looking quite good Larry. I agree those decal films are hard to cover up. I have stopped using them.

I have been working on this project on and off, but have not been taking progress pictures.

Time to post a few.

Vernes fire cart from the E&SG RR was moved up to the distant copper mine today.

E&SG RR #8 headed home for the evening with a load of copper ore.

An image from the back of the layout (the backdrop will end up eliminating future pictures from this location.

Looking good. Are there plans to add this to a larger layout or is it a stand alone. Nice to see parts of Verne's layout showing up.

All I can say is 'wow'...what a great little layout and what a great tribute to the E&SG!!! You have been one busy guy!

As to the other mine, there were several names thrown around, I am using the name Soledad (Solitary in Spanish) for my AV&W. I always liked the name Sonrisa (Sunrise).

Hey, Larry!

I had forgotten that you used a curved trestle to get from the mine to the tipple on this layout! I need to do this on my DW&A, so, Thanks! for the reminder that it's not such a far-flung idea ... ...!

CHEERS!
