Larry,

That list of equipment that'll go around your curves was mucho appreciated. I'm building a mini with 12.5" radius curves.

Rick,
Four pieces of flex track some switches and an hours workmand you can be running a layout.

All kidding aside go to the craft store with a 40% off coupon and buy a 2x3 cork note board and lay some track on top. You will have a great time.

Would have never thought about buying a cork note board, Instant Road bed.

Great Idea.

Start with one of these,
http://www.walmart.com/ip/Quartet-Cork-Board-2-x-3/17163532 $10.00

I feel a "small distraction" challenge in the future.

Everyone starts with the same board and see's what we can come up with.

That would be fun.

I use those cork boards for my roadbed, they hold spikes and kill sound. it would be a fun ON30 challenge.

Don't worry Dallas, I have a plan in place for the current distraction and a few structures are being test fit. The mini may be as tall as it is wide with an Arizona mining feel.

Any more photos to show us, Larry? This "distraction" has turned into an interesting project.

John,
I will post a thread this week for a challenge, I think we should put it in the Micro layout section and try to get some bites from different scales, thoughts?

Two crappy pictures from my phone.
The Tin Chicken I have been working on(far from finished) with trailer car built from a BVM Rambling Road Runner that was to go on the back of a Bachmann rail truck.

It makes a nice short Boxcar. Dallas you should consider it as a product.

Noodling the structures for the layout
