Greg,

I've been on the road a lot this week and have missed much of what has been going on.

So I what to add my congratulations. That is quite an achievement, well deserved.

Mike

Hello Greg,
I got my Aug. MR today. I have always admired your work. That picture is one I looked at, looked at again, and again. A beautifully modeled scene. Congratulations, you more than deserved to be published. Stunning.

Hey guys! Sorry it's taken me so long to respond, I've been away since last Thursday up at our cottage.
Thanks! Very much! For the kind words about my photo of the pier being published in MR.
It's really wonderful to come home and read each of your posts.
Thank you again my friends!

Greg

Troels, thanks very much! I was greatly inspired by you to finally get off my butt and start building a layout.
So thanks again for the inspiration!

Hi everyone, I thought I'd set up a bunch of city buildings that I have laying around, on the center of the Magoun pier track loop.
To try and give me the look of what a big city might look like one day behind this large urban pier.
And of course it had to be at night, to hide all of the other junk that you would normally see here in the background.
I think it really looks like a big city pier now!
Here are a few of the better photos that I got from this exercise.

Hi Greg,

Outstanding modeling and night photography. It really sets a nice mood for the scene. The cityscape background works very well.

Take care,
Rob.

Thanks, Rob!
It's fun to play with models just sitting around gathering dust.
One day I will get the rest of my layout, to attach to my pier.
