Thanks Pete!
Yes I just got my August copy of MR in the mail today, and was very surprised to see my photo of Magoun pier with the full 2 pages being used to show my work.

Wow! What a dream come true! I have spent most of my life looking at other modellers work being displayed in MR.
Always thinking in my head wouldn't it be nice to see my work in there someday.
So this is it, my time has finally come the first time my work has ever been published in MR.
And it's really a great feeling!

Remember you members of RRLines saw it here first before anyone else did.

Greg

Greg, Congratulations! Photos of Magoun Pier are prototypical enough that Kalmbach also needs to run a two page spread in TRAINS as well as MR.

Thanks! Chuck & Bill.
It's always very rewarding to me when I get compliments, from great modellers like you 2 are.

Thanks! Dave, Jerry, Rob, Carl and Bob, for your very kind words.
You guys have heard the old saying "That it takes a village to raise a child"
I will change that a bit, to it takes a forum like this one to inspire a layout.
So many of you are the reason that my Magoun pier was even built.
So I thank you all again for the inspiration and the support given to me throughout it's construction.
I don't think I would have done it without you.

I've been gone for a few days, so I missed this. When reviewing my MR this evening I turned the page to a brillant photo of something that seemed real familar. Greg, as mentioned your work is outstanding and congrats on getting 2 fricking pages in MR. Very happy for you.
