Mike, I thank you for your very kind words!

Twas the night before the Doubleheaders layout tour, and down in the laundry room everything was ready. Well almost ready.
I thought I'd give you a sneak peek at how Magoun Pier now looks, for the layout tour.

The bare foam is all covered up with scenic materials now, and I got most of the structures lit.

And the trains are running perfectly, so I hope all will go well tomorrow with the tour!

Bill, it went really well!
I would have posted something last night after the tour, but after a 14 hour day I was exhausted.
Thanks everyone, for the really nice tour well wishes!
And a big thank you to forum member Robert Wanka (Artman) for helping me with keeping the trains running.
And also my 10 year old nephew Ben, for giving me a helping hand with keeping the engines rolling on the pier.
Judging from the comments I received, I feel that people really enjoyed their visit too Magoun pier, and would return next year to see more of it.

Thanks again everyone, for your support!

Greg

All the atta-boys are well deserved, I'm sure. Sounds like you have a nice day and most likely
knocked the socks off the folks viewing your outstanding project. Were they mostly model
railroaders or just plain folks?
