Has anyone ever posted a build/tutorial on wiring from a pole with a transformer to a building weather head? I see this done on a few recent dioramas (re: Greg's Delwins). What material and adhesives were used? I've wanted to try this both on my dioramas and layout but want to get it correct.

Buried in one of those two links is http://www.railroad-line.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=28560&whichpage=1. Aside from astounding photos there are a few hints on using EZ line.

This is an interesting subject for sure.

Dick Elwell had an article on all telephone pole wiring.
Here are pictures I have stored away.
It is in a Kalmbach book by Lou Sassi.

Hey John, the guys have already provided you with some very good info,so I will just post a couple more pics to help out.
This first one is from Delwins instructions showing the hook up to the pole & the weather head.

The second photo here shows the EZ line that I used for the wires.
It comes in different colours and sizes depending on your needs.

This last photo is for inspiration.

WOW...what a response. Thank you so very much guys. Hard to believe there was so
much interest in this one topic. Oddly enough, I've operated Dick Elwell's layout
perhaps 15 times over the years knowing full well that most of his structures are
properly wired. Never thought to look and photograph more closely with the idea of
doing it myself. This should be interesting. Louis and Greg, thanks for the nice
schematics, they will be of great help.

Hey John, just one more thing I forgot to mention,SSLtd. has 2 weather head castings you can buy.One is a finer looking residential weather head casting. The other is a larger industrial weather head casting.I like the larger one the best.

Thanks Greg, but I have a few left over from some FSM kits that I never installed.
