Nice model, Dave. How do you like the BTS kits overall? I've been tempted to pick up a few just to support the early rail cause, but they seem awfully expensive for what they are (i.e., small, simple cars with minimal added-on detail).

The B.T.S. kits are fine for what they represent, which were prototype cars with very little hardware :-) Because they're wood, you can use wood weathering techniques on them. For me, they're fun to build because they don't involve the same skill level/commitment as a resin kit.

They're not in the same league with, for example, the resin Silver Crash Car Works kits (that are more 1880s/1890s).
