Almost all day today, 7-17 I was unable to get on the forum, SCREEN NOT FOUND or similar wording on the screen that came up.

I've also noted real slow access at times both initially and when posting.

Just FYI Tues eve and it's all well.

It was over 100 here in Jersey today and I guess the servers just couldn't take the heat any more.
Just got back from my bike ride and happy to see that we're in business again.

It was only in the mid 90's when I rode.

Personally, I'd rather ride in 100 degree weather than in 40 or less weather.

I take back everything I've been saying about your senility.

Rick, there's a useful term you should learn: "Civil Twilight"

It has an interesting, complex definition, but basically, it means "half an hour before sunrise." In this weather, I start my rides at civil twilight.

Have you noticed the buzzards circling overhead during your rides? They are trying to tell you something.

Have fun!

Don

And when you do go out during "Civil Twilight," remember the lights and highly reflective gear. If nothing else, this will give the lawyers something to work with after the SUV/yakking/texting buzzards start circling...."

Civil Twilight may have some benefits.... I just finished a ride and once again I am reminded that age, heat and humidity are not a good combination for me.

Unfortunately, I work till 1:30 AM, so I'm sleeping at "Civil Twilight".
The heat doesn't really bother me and I've actually had some of my fastest rides when the temps were close to or over 100.
Just have to make sure to stay hydrated.

Must be the wind behind your skinny arse that makes you go that fast
