Thanks Ron!
I pulled my RY Brass 25 tonner out of the box and this unit has more detail than the brass critter.

The critter is a little bigger than the Bachmann Davenport and Porter but I bet is small compaired to an o scale Dash 8 or oh my a Big Boy!
A very cool engine now thinking about what drive to use for the second critter I have.

Finish the detailing and painting on this one

Good Stuff Larry, the drive looks about right to me and if it runs well then that's a bonus. Look forward to the finished paint job.

Looking good, Larry! Did you have to mess with the drive mechanism to tweak it, or did it always perform this way?

WAY TO GO!!!
Looks good ta me!! Yellow "V" safety stripes on the rear oc the cab? (Good idea)
The unit as a whole looks good Larry....JMO, but I think diesel (D-cell) critters
should be a bigger than the other narrow gauge critters in comparison. All mine are....
Looking fwd to da finish!!!

Larry
Nice critter...when I first saw it I thought about if I had another hood I could put it on the other end of the cab and make something cool. You have done well on this...and finished it.
