From the looks of this it looks as if the weathering technique was as follows;

1) build a 1:1 prototype
2) run it hard for a couple of years
3) take a picture

Looks awful real to me.

Bryan

I'm with you. I think it's an original 1:1 prototype, disguised as a model.

Craig.

Link please ???

Mario,

Get yourself a copy of The 2008 Modelers' Annual ( Winter 2009). There is a 12 page article hidden within its pages ,

Thank's Nick. I missed that issue
I was actually reading your article in the 2012 annual last night.
Crazy stuff laying all those bricks.
That's why I stick to being a "chippy", building timber walls.

I still hoping MJ will visit with some comments.

cheers mate and "let the games begin" in London

Hey Big M ,

It looks to me as if you can download the PDF file ( for a fee) from Westlake Publishing . Go and have a look at Russ's website .

Or you could have a " My Publisher" book copy but as there are only 4 copies around ( I think) and I've got Number 3 that is not going to be very easy to get hold of !

You think that's crazy laying a mere 3000 bricks wait 'til you see what I bring along to Oz next year . If I make it .

Games ? What Games ?

He is suppose to call me Tuesday from the Lincoln Memorial I will tell him you have questions for him when he gets back.

I really like this very unique transmission that this tractor has. Very simple with a nice range of controlled transmitted power/speed. Neat.

Thanks for the feedback, Guys.

Nick. Hope you make it down here.
It promises to be the best yet with plenty to do and see. If not, we can drink for 3 days . I assume you'll travel to see the guys in Sydney.

Jerry. Nice to see Marty catching up on some History

Frank. Which are the photos of the model and the real thing.
Model too good for words
Did you or Marty capture those images.

cheers all
