I added another elevator built and weathered by Tom Johnson.
The elevator is placed to hide a termination point on the railroad going to a staging area.

Looks great and does a excellent job of hidding the track to staging.

Looks great and really nice scenery too.
The overall structure looks like a few components all very well finished with paint and weathering, but do you know if Tom scratch built or kit bashed this structure? Would be neat to know what components make up this structure.

Quintin, great use of the structure as a scenic divider.
Mike, go to the search function and put in (Inrail) search the Mid scale Forums undeer INRAIL and you will find several of Tom's threads telling how he has built alot of his elevators and what kits.

Wow!
Ditto to what others have said. The elevator, trees and trackwork look so real, simply excellent modeling.

Not only a beautiful model, but the overall scene looks really nice. Everything well blended. I also really like the weathering. Very natural looking.

Quark. Not sure where Quintin has been so I'll answer for him. As he said in his post above, I built the elevator. It is kitbashed using cut pieces from Walther's ADM grain elevator kit.
