Good morning everyone.
I'm here Tom and thanks for the coffee.
Geezer, glad to hear that the wife is doing fine.
Somehow got poison ivy on my arm and was advised not to sweat so as not to spread it. That stinks because it's a really nice day outside today and was looking forward to a bike ride.
Hope everyone has or had a great day.

afternoon all thanks for coffee tom. glad the check up went well. bill good to hear the wife is fine.
rick sorry to hear about the poison ivy, sorry to also hear you cant go for a bike ride.
been pretty engrossed with a couple rolling stock projects, however my camera card reader usb thing has desided to die. so no photos till its replacment arrives also, while ive been working on the baseboards on the metal adjustable trestle legs i desided to bring them upto the hight that they should be with a 6foot table and the stock boxes under, brings the layout baseboard top to just on 50inches, and dang its a lovely hight and just fine for me to work the layout from behind so very pleased with that. also ordered a few bits for yet another project, for some reason ive had an ich to make a 4 wheel boxcar, ordered a couple more of those 3d printed chassis and a chivers body worth of parts (useal disclaimer, but i love it when vendors sell parts of kits!) also got an ich to weather the heck out of it like i did on some of my 20foot boxcars(and i'll take photos this time)
its been nice and cool today, so im just settleing with a shandy and looking about on the net for 4wheel boxcars and bobber cabooses hope everyone has a nice day!

My nephew once managed to get poison ivy on his thing-a-ma-bob while peeing in the woods, I can't even imagine how miserable that would be, even for an eleven year old kid. With all of the health problems and computer crashes, it seems like everyone is having an eventful summer, here's hoping things quiet down a bit. I'm off to do a school program in the A.M., then marching in the Jackson (Mi) Rose Parade on Sunday. This years Rose Queen is competing for Miss Michigan. The strawberries are ripe here, so I had hot biscuit slim whip up some strawberry shortcakes and cream.

Good morning everyone, coffee is on so help yourself.
Easy night last night, finished cleanup up the layout room (and crew lounge), cleaned the track and wrote out the switch lists so I'm ready for the operating session tonight.
Have a great day everyone.

been busy with a few things, added some decals to the caboose bash, between the side door and windows, looks a little strange, but works for the car i think, weathered a reefer, troels kirk style took about half an hour and quite pleased with the results, sorted out my box of grandtline parts, crossed off half my shopping list as i already had it....
ron, hope the op session goes well tonight!

Thanks forcoffee ron....I added ice to mine. ;-) Gearing up for another trip to the lake today. Should be much less scarrier than before - She says she can see the 2 yellow lines now......Anc can tell the difference between a truck and a cow. Painting & cleanup time in the layout room for me, as rain is forcast for the weekend in the mountains. I have yet toneed/buy an air conditioner at the lake. The humidity in my train room stays at a even level....prolly somewhere between arid and drought!!! LOL!!! I took a 8 foot board and glued some old sectional track down....straight stretch....gapped the middle and added a old DC controller for power....On the other side of the gap, I added a buzzer circuit with a light....It has yet to make a sound....The gaps are cc card wide. Have a good day...TTYL..... Did you see the Forney, Tom?

Good Afternoon All, Only a couple hours this week modeling. Cardio Rehab takes up 3 days and those evenings are a bust. Good News on the Cardio is I am well below the nomimal numbers by far, so ALL of the indicators are in the Green...Waaaaaaaahooo!!
Looking forward to Goose Fest in 2 weeks to get the juices rolling again. Be assured I am around, lurking and reading your threads.

Good afternoon everyone.
Made a fresh pot of coffee for anyone stopping by this afternoon.
Steve, so far I've been lucky to keep the poison ivy away from my thing-a-ma-bob. I am taking another day off from riding though to give the medicine a chance to clear this stuff up some more. Tomorrow and Sunday are ride days regardless.
Hope everyone has or had a great day.

Good evening all... I'll have a cup, thank you Rick...
Rain pouring down when I returned from the shed. The new beach looks fine, but is still not completely dry. So I mostly walked around the layout room pondering what to do in the coming time... painted a Ford truck, made a mooring line or to, fixed some seaweed, dusted a little. I could get used to that leisurely tempo ;-)

Rick - I hope the PI goes down the road soon..... Les - that is good news for sure! Troels, you sir, deserve some "leisure time' if anyone does...... Tom: "Modify it!!!"..... Poison ivy on the "thing-a-ma-bob" is never a good (thingamabob!) You should watch where you drag things around...... Andy my friend...said it before - You have come a long way......"Grashoppa"...be patient! Ron: cleaning the layout room is "NOT GOOD!!!!"....you will be able to find things...... Marty: we gonna tie a big brick on your (_|_).....keep you in the layout room & lounge..... TTYL.....
