Now I've installed the first Tortoise and BluePoint. But I replaced the 0.8mm wire with a thicker one, 1.0mm. This way I get more force to the throw bar.

The track gang was busy and arrived at Esperanza.

And I run a first test train:

... and the video to the test train!

Congratulations on your first run of your test train.
Was the test a success?

Yes, it was a success.

I need to power the Tortoise. One or two points do not touch the outer rails, this can give derailments.
And at one frog (at 2:50) I will have to rework a little bit.

And I need a longer track section for the reversing track. The train should not be longer than the reversing section!
BTW, I use the Tam Valley Hexfrogjuicer.

Action at Esperanza.

There're still some dead spots. I have to power the a few frogs.

My Tam Valley Hexfrogjuicer powers two frogs of the crossings without problems. You couldn't hear it. The engines run with sound over the crossing.

At one spot I had to rework one frog of the crossing. The flangeway was a little bit too wide.

Wolfgang, Very nice. Little blue engine a test engine from the grandchild? My grand-daughter used to run trains on a prior layout. It was DC with block control. At the time she was four years old and had no problem figuring out what to do. She did have a favorite conductor figure that had to ride the back platform of the caboose on the freight... ALWAYS.
