The Great Lakes HOn30 Module Group is a group of model railroaders from OH and MI, with satellite members in TX and AZ (who formally lived in the Great Lakes region), who are modeling the 2 foot gauge RRs of Maine in HOn30. The modules are a 50/50 mix of prototype and freelance scenes. A couple weeks ago, I mentioned that I would be posting photos of the group's modules. I am finally getting around to it.
Locating photos of everyone's modules has been a bit challenging. I thought I had photos of every one, but they are proving to be elusive. I will be posting photos, as I find them, and hope that Stephen Pinkham, a fellow GLHON30er, and member of this forum will post some as well.

OK, Jeff, I surrender. You're right. "Locating photos of everyone's modules has been a bit challenging." I just went through my stuff, and found nothing of Forum Quality therein. 
We need to make a concentrated effort to get decent pix at the Midwest NG Show next week.

OK, some more hunting, diving deeper....
Welcome to "East Dirigo," one of the end modules for the Great Lakes HOn30 Module Group HOn30 layout. "Dirigo," Latin for "I lead," is the motto of the State of Maine.
This is a close-up of one of Jeff's modules, which is still a work in process. Note the wooden sidewalks and the pre-World War I signage.

Here are some photos taken of modules of the OH members at a Dayton, OH, train show last November.

This is the newest module on the layout. It is my freelance depiction of James Pond, in Maine. The actual pond happens to be a couple miles from the old right-of-way of the WW&F Ry, the 2nd largest of the Maine 2 footers. A lot more work needs to be done to it.

This is Gliebe's Landing, built by Phil Gliebe, and is a freelance harbor module. It contains a small yard for us to store rolling stock during exhibitions.

This is the module of the late Vic Hamburger and depicts the town of Weeks Mills, which was on the WW&F Ry. Although Vic lived in MA, he set his module up with us on a couple occasions. He was a fantastic modeler, woodworker, and person. His widow felt that we should have his module and we display it whenever we get the chance.

This is my freelance Schumaker's Mill module and is a loose represention of the American Woolen Mill that was on the short-lived Winslow branch of the WW&F Ry. It's also the oldest module on the layout.

This is my freelance East Dirigo module, which is a represention of small town Maine during the time period of the 2 footers.

This is Sam Swanson's Windes Inlet module, which was inspired by the Thatcher's Inlet series by Frary and Hayden. Several articles regarding its construction have appeared in recent issues of Narrow Gauge & Shortline Gazette.

This is Jim Foster's versatile Mewuppinas module. It can work as a straight module, right hand or left hand turn module, end module, or even as a stand-alone layout.

This is my Headtide Station module, representing the depot at Headtide, ME, on the WW&F Ry. The location of the depot on the prototype was unusual, as it was on the opposite side of the Sheepscot River as the town of Headtide was.
As time permits, and as I find them, I will post photos of the other modules of the GLHON30 group.

Yes, the fairgrounds was not the best of venues, but Gary K. made the best of a bad situation after being denied use of the church hall on short notice.
