This is a post for all of the news that doesn't make it into the 6:00 pm broadcast, and to further follow the adventures of "Joe" and "Mrs Joe" (Joe's ex). In other words quirky pictures and odd tidbits. Feel free to add content, but we have to keep it G rated.

The Track inspector is trying to determine the cause of frequent derails in the Backus Sinkhole area. ( Note, there really was a sinkhole on the interurban route near Teaspoon Corners)

Our track foreman on the E&SG refers to such irregularities as 'a minor sag'. As long as the wheelbase of your cars and locos is under 12 feet, it's really not a problem!

In the weather, Teaspoon Corners received a light dusting of snow over night. But in Denmark, officials in Langelinie, Copenhagen, are very concerned about the ongoing drought and it's affect on local marine life.

"In other words quirky pictures and odd tidbits." Boy are you going to be sorry you asked for that. I've got a million of them.

I'll start with some Hollywood trade secrets.

As you think, so will you be.

While en-route to Teaspoon Corners, the engine in Joe's car died. With a little quick horse trading and the last of their cash, the happy couple are on their way again.

This just in the newsroom from Tagish and Marsh Lake. The crew has run into some very tough schist. Mine foreman Jon Johnson said "BY YIMMINY, VE GONNA GET TO DAT BACON ROCK MAKE SOME FULL HOPPERS ON DER TRAIN" So needing help with the explosives, a certain DONKEY HOTAY has been pressed in to service. this is very dangerous work. Donkey may not come back.
