The basic plans are from the Santa Fe railroad standard structure plans. I'm modifying them to use the lumber sizes and types I have.

It's a solar day, in this case from 11:00 am to 11:00 am the next day.

Step 6: Walls and framing.

More office offcuts and siding from the warehouse.

Step 6: more walls and framing.

I ran out of stuff and had to change techniques because it was too slow.

Made from lots of bits and pieces of siding from the warehouse and hotel.

Painted some things too. Green is the inside, red is the outside, white is the trim.

Step 7: Raising the walls.

I'm using the doors from the Bar Mills kit to help hold things square.

The building will be made in two main parts that slot together at the end so that I maintain access to all the areas to put in details.

The doors came off the Bar Mills #1 kit, I had 6 spare and used 4 in this structure.

Step 8: Stalls

It's much easier to build the frames around the stall doors than to frame out the openings and hope. The stalls are only 3/4" wide so it's hard to reach in too. Paint next and make the stall 'fittings' while the paint dries.

Step 8: Stalls

The fittings are mostly complete. Even LP men forget to put the seat down.

Made from scraps of pier bents and warehouse office.

Step 9: Trim (and details)

Urinal

found a piece of truss rod from the wearehouse for the pipe and the urinal is made from a piece of leftover 1:24 corrugated metal made from Coke cans with a paper crimper.

Step 10 Assembly

Here are the two units for final glueing

Glue and clamp.

Enough for tonight. It will take a couple of hours for the glue to dry solid. Tomorrow morning I need to finish the roof and make the signs. I'll cut the tar roof, make the rafters and sheathing and the signs before I go to bed. Tomorrow it's final assembly.

John,

Looking good and your almost there. (I bet the picture taking and posting is taking longer than the actual build itself)
