I was running through my Doors recordings the other night, and remembered how Strange Days scared 11-year-old me a bit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ph2nE2EA8ts
Then, my local college radio station played all of Black Sabbath's Paranoid about an hour before they went remote/automatic when their building was closed for the duration.

No song that I can think of is special to me. I love music and all sorts of styles. Spent some time just relaxing on the main chair in the cave music playing. Funeral for a Friend by Elton John just made shivers run through the body yesterday. Sometimes songs or portion of songs can do that to me. Especially nice when listening on a good sound system.

In a time like ours seemings and portents signify. Ours is a generation when dogs howl and the skin crawls on the skull with its beast's foreboding. |

Thanks Jim, that was great and brings back the memories of HS graduation that year of 1970.

Martin, I have a greater appreciation for BOC now then I used to. We have seen them live, twice. Loved that song, thanks

Anyone remember the Kingston Trio?
https://www.kingstontrio.com/
Tom Dooley, MTA.....
Al Hirt?
Harry Chaplin, and Neil Diamond were favorites.....been to multiple concerts of both, in the day. Paid big big bucks for a street cop for main floor seats at Joe Louis area to see Neal, the a$$ that sat next to me new the words to all the songs.......
I can’t remember who sang it but now really fond of “The Sound of Silence”. I hate hearing aids/
