This update is as much for A.R.Curtis Mfg. as it is for the layout.

If your wondering about that white thing in front of the shipping door,it is a Z scale 40' container chassis.

Scratchbuilt buildings for the future business district on the Z layout.

Left to right,Lynda's Lair,Hood Automotive,and Fowler's Furniture.

Buildings are not done yet, because they are not going on the layout till January 2012 and they will be finished at installation time.

Those look like older downtown buildings that have had fascia updates sometime in the past.

Nuther new building for the Z , this time a factory.

First one is down from above to show the shape.

Next a straight on front shot.

Right side, this is the track side

Left side the truck side.

3/4 front view painted and pretty.

Needs some detail on the flat roof and a name and she is done except for planting.

Here's the latest pic of the layout. This was taken on 1-7-2012 at the annual Riverbend Model Raileoad club show.

Next show is in April,by then I hope to have signs on the factories and the commercial district (where the gas station is now) done though I still have several stores to create yet.

Vital stats if your interested length is 5'2" narrow end is 24" and the wide end is 30.25".

I am working on plans for a new bigger sectional layout for show duty provided I can find the hardware needed to do it.
