Richard, nice to see you back. And don't expect anyone here to handcuff Tom. As a retired PO he knows all the handcuffing tricks in the books.

I'm still wondering if you have any more info for the standard sizes of the various trucks and wheelsets chart/table?

Martin,

Can you do the single board with the style of lettering you used on page 21. I think we are very close to what I would like. I would like simple, visible lettering.

I like the latest one Martin. The letters NOT being stretched make it look better to me and the periods look good too. JMO

Hi y'all

Jeff, I got my decals from Stan Cedarleaf at:

<http://gold.mylargescale.com/StanCedarleaf/WebPageDecals/CustomDecalsx.html>

He sent me these decals which were 3 1/4" by 7" and will do 3 boxcars, a caboose, a passenger car, an engine and a flat car or two.

As I said, the prices have increased dramatically. I thins Alps supplies are so scarce some vendors are resorting to the black market. Just an unsubstantiated rumor.

His turnaround is really quick and the quality is fine for me.

Dave... oops on the handcuff remark. I learn more about you guys everyday...

Tom, I hope my humor translated well. I'm so impressed with your participation in this build. You keep me honest and on my toes...

Martin... the artwork for Tom is really looking good. Your generosity is above and beyond the call of duty!

Richard..

Richard,

Your humor translates well. I plan on approaching Stan in the New Year for a quote on decals for my locos. I still have not decided on a logo for my railroad.

For my boxcars I will keep the numbering simple.

Dave and Martin,

The last set of lettering is very good. I am just not sure my sign painter was that fancy. He does good lettering but was a simple man.

Must'a lost something in the translation...

I was having difficulty in aligning the frame for the boxcar. I decided a jig would be needed.

There are two short pieces of frame that can be added later.

The walls fit into the jig and all is square.

Tomorrow I will make a jig for the ends.
