Finally finished cutting & adding planking to the wharf

Just for fun, I thought I'd add a bit of life to the scene and put the structure in some sort of perspective before I continued further.

I admit the size of this project is larger than I thought, as part of the overall scene of "Dundas Point"

cheers all

Dundas Point is situated along a river, "down on the Bayou", not an ocean scene.

I kept and used the attached photo for such a scene and idea for the wharf & piers.

I downloaded the photo from a forum ??? sometime back. It maybe a photo by Rick or Frank Bernard. Just wanted to say thanks.

cheers

Thanks Rick. The netting is 1:35 military. It comes in various colours and found it ideal in size for !:48 modeling. I still need to add "buoys" ...but that's another project

"Rick. Let's try and hook up later this week." Tonight or Friday night would work the best for me. Hope it does for you too.

Hi All

The building is actually a "set" built by the crew at Universal Orlando.Like Disney World buildings,it appears to be about 3/4 scale, and is at the beginning of the "Jaws" boat ride. Mario: much like the Popeye Village in Malta.

Your scene is coming along nicely
