Count me in. I'm looking forward to the next set of interchange cars to cross the rails of the New Haven. Maybe this year with the Actual NH yard and some more scenery.

Welcome to the group, Ron. We will get this organized over the next few weeks.

I'd pile on in a heartbeat, but my "railroad" consists of partially completed benchwork and a couple of pieces of blueboard shoved in place more as flat surfaces than as anything useful. I have a couple of scenery demo dioramas around, but there's only so much mileage you can get from them.
Ron, the Interchange is a lot of fun. Just watch out for Preacher and Turtle... they're dangerous!

Pete,
With your connections isn't there a club or two in the area or even other private railroads that might be accommodating?

Pete, I'm not terribly worried about those two, when they hit the hobo camp the local 'Bo's will keep them in line. They know the police chief is a real S.O.B.
By the way good luck with finishing up your carpentry.
I am looking forward to the interchange!

Bill,
The area "Club" is high-rail tinplate. My modular stuff, which still works, is HOn30, circa 1912. There are a couple of layouts in the area (loosely defined, as "area" means 40 miles or so of driving, minimum), but none with scenery. I could go down to "Lockout Andy's," but it's a two hundred mile drive each way.... I was running on-time for the 2011 IP until last summer, when some retrofitting and some family issues got in the way. That's slowed things down, but I now have a High Green, so I'm hopeful.
Probably best if I stay here and build!

Me and the Blue springs RR are in. My layout is almost down but still have track on and a few buildings ,waiting on tubs to store the rest of the stuff while it sits in the garage waiting room....

One suggestion would be to do a small layout like a Timesaver or an Inglenook layout. If you go on Carl Arendt's micro layout website, (http://carendt.us/), there's some ideas for a temporary layout like I'm doing.
I would love to be part of the program. I'm just worried that I haven't been a member of railroad line.com long enough. The reason that I joined this forum was to belong to a group such as this since the NMRA ICE SIG Group is no longer in existance.
I'm actually trying to start up a car interchange program in NYC Metropolitan Area.I started a yahoo group NYCMetropolitanAreaCarInterchange@yahoogroups.com. I was planning on running 2 circuts, transition era and modern (incentive per diem box car era). This sounds ambitious on my part, but it might be fun.

Hey Mike. I think I had only been a forum member for a couple of months when I first took part in the Interchange so don't let that keep you away. It's great fun.
